Maybe i'm frustrated how every year i see Les play seniors over vastly superior talent waiting behind them?
meaux, you should have just said "I hate Les Miles, I'll start going back to the games when he leaves and we get a real coach"...because that's what you really want to say

That hasn't changed in years. When I was a student we used to sit around and drink listening to the BS spewed.. And 1996-2000 there was a whole lot more to bitch about.
Again nothing has changed. We just now have social media to bitch about it daily.

I think the people saying that what's going on in Tiger Stadium with fans leaving at half-time is happening everywhere etc. is true. The difference is other schools don't claim their stadium is the best venue in all of college sports and their fan base is the most intimidating on Earth. Truth is Tiger Stadium has become very ordinary...just like every other place. If we're playing a close game against a Top 10 team in perfect weather it can be awesome until we get behind by 10 points and then it's a stampede. I do think the crappy Out of Conference home games and the cluster that is traffic and logistics has taken a big toll, but honestly it's just a typical stadium these days.

I so enjoy the after game radio on 98.1 FM when LSU loses or plays badly. Its some of the funniest stuff I hear all year long
Seriously! Better than any stand up comedy I've ever heard.

Were you at the State game? My section was emptying at halftime when we were down 17-3. Most were simply frustrated with the play calling, etc. We had half of our row empty before the 3rd quater even started.

going undefested in the SEC
I think we did lose some SECs games during that time.

LSU was 33-7, 20-6 from 2009-2011. Anyone voicing their displeasure with that record must have been sleeping when LSU went 30-9 from 2002-2004.

I was in 637. We were PACKED at halftime. Nobody started leaving until really the beginning of 4th. In fact the only reason the row in front of me was half empty was because a bunch of MSU fans actually left.

Bama just as bad if not worse than LSU for leaving early.

Can you prove that with pictures? I can prove otherwise.
It may be a problem everywhere, but NO consistently ranked SEC team has a stadium that empties out near the way Tiger Stadium empties before the game is over.
Here is a quarter-by-quarter look at Bryant-Denny. I'll sure take that in-game crowd-retention over what I see at Tiger Stadium this year.

What part of Texas do you live in?

I stay the entire time so I can get a look at the backup players usually going in at the end. For the MSU game, the place was jumping to start and the environment was killer. Everyone was still there through halftime and waited for a spark of a comeback through most of the 3rd. When it became apparent we weren't coming back, everyone started stockpiling the exits. In fact I remember the play, AJ got sacked near the south endzone on 3rd and long. Everyone around me cleared at that point. The other home games we've been so far ahead, with no suspense I think everyone just wanted to beat the traffic out, just like every other successful major college venue. It'll be different for ole miss and bama I'm sure! As long as we still in the game. Regardless, I'm staying!
