Only to wait to try to start playing when the rain comes.

You can't fix stupid.

Be proactive and not scrambling

You would think it would be simple to start a game at noon before the afternoon thunderstorms hit, but no.

Is this the NCAA's call or LSU's?

NCAA doesn't check the weather forecast.
Maybe they can flip a coin and determine the winner that way.
No reason they couldn't start at 11 today that way you don't have a situation where one team is playing at midnight tonight.

I think the NCAA has something to do with it. Didn't Alleva go off on them two years ago when they moved the championship game back to Monday instead of playing it late Sunday night?

So moving it up from its original start time causes a problem but moving it back due to rain doesn't?

At some point, te NCAA's scheduling cannot be completely dictated by TV.

Also, the SEC network could very easily preemt the one thousandth viewinng of Bo and the Big Hurt

Yes. There is a game before ours on SEC Network. Are you seriously asking why they aren't moving up a TV game?

And every year we get these same uninformed threads complaining about the same thing by people who don't understand the logistics of holding a regional, televised baseball tournament.

Your reasoning is correct. But it is fricktarded by the tv companies.

They dont want to move the game up because it conflicts with other games, but moving it back because of the rain is ok?

We gwt it, but they need to demand the autonomy to move the games to get them in at this time of year. ESPN can just put it on their digital channels, same as they do when another game goes long. Or, put it on the SEC Alt network channel.

I understand your reasoning is right, but it is horribly flawed logic

Unfortunately, that point isn't June 2017.

If it's moved back it's done out of necessity and yes, it can cause the game to not be televised.
