Much more a reflection of ESPN than it is of Kelly.

DeBoer, Swinney, and Day are Kiffin is also a reach. Kelly is top 3. As far as Swinney goes, he has been in a downward trend since LSU kicked his arse in the 2nd half of the NC game.

Couldn’t care less about media rankings. Brian Kelly needs to make the playoff. That’s what I care about.

Some bold picks there, but Sark is the most laughable to me. He’s had 1 ten win season in over a decade coaching career.

Forgot about the gap too. He’s been coaching for 15 years and barely 70-50 overall record

This is actually pretty funny. How do you leave out a coach with three appearances in the title game or playoffs. And back to back 10-wins.

Isn't BK currently the winningest coach? That's gotta be worth enough to put him in there.

ESPN ranked them based on their Diversity statements submitted to the schools when they were hired. They used DeBoer's DIE statement from Washington, which is a real doozie.

7 and 9 are the biggest head scratchers. Sark had one good year.

This makes me irrationally angry. So if DeBust is #2 based on last year was Sonny Dykes ranked #2 last year based on TCUs run the year before?

What’s DeBust done to warrant top 5?

If you are going to rank coaches, CURRENT ranking is all that counts. Sweeney ignoring the transfer portal has taken him out of the top 10. But hey, keep dusting off that history book and tell me when the horseless carriage was invented.

I don't think there is any doubt (as a whole) there is a significant anti LSU bias in the media.

You have your Van Pelts and a few of the ex tiger players who don't fit into that, but almost all the rest do.

The ABSOLUTE ANNIHILATION of Wade, trying to take down Mulkey with a BS hit piece (she's most likely MAGA, and that don't fly in today's media), and the slighting of BK, along with the ASTONISHMENT he would leave ND to take the better job at LSU.

Also notice how whenever you read a story that mentions the powerhouses in college football, LSU'S name is conviently omitted. When we are CLEARLY the second best program in the country this millennium, and would have easily been the best had Nick decided not to go get his arse handed to him by other NFL coaches and stayed at LSU.

#2 and #7 are good coaches but have done nothing to be considered top ten yet.

But honestly, who gives a crap
