quote:

#39 Leonard Fournette
LSU Tigers Junior
Running back Score: 7.7
Previous rank: 24
The man misses a month and then immediately shatters LSU's single-game rushing record with 284 yards in his return. And get this: Fournette says his ankle was not fully healthy and that he was out of shape against Ole Miss. -- David Ching

So LF7 runs for 284 yards and drops from #24 to #39

It's totally indefensible that Hurts is ranked above Fournette, even considering games missed due to injury. Arbitrary and biased drivel.

The fact that I haven't even heard of most of the guys ranked above Fournette makes the list void

Donnel Pumphrey is a very, very good running back and I know him personally. But I will bet anyone who wants to step up $100.00 that LF gets taken in the NFL draft before Donnel does.

What that proves is ESPN is not a GM of any the NFL's football teams.

If injuries factor in these rankings they should take Eddie Jackson (#18) off the list completely. Idiots

Idiots. I hope Leonard goes into Bama 100% healthy and with a chip on his shoulder and I hope the coaches scheme to his strengths. Busting 150+ in a win against Bama would put him back in the Heisman convo. Long-shot, but in the conversation.

So even the Bama player with a broken leg is better than every player on LSU's team.

Great list

Patrick Mahomes being below any QB not named Lamar Jackson is a shame.

Something tells me the NFL will disagree with these rankings on draft day.

I mean he missed a ton of time and they are ranking on performance for the entire year

Now the others should absolutely be higher

The other list was created a month ago

No Tre White? I know everyone else is going to focus on Fournette's low ranking, but White is the most dominant lock-down corner in the country. His not being in the top-50 is just as laughable as Fournette not being in the top-5.

That may be the dumbest list in ESPN's history.

And that's saying something

Where do they come up with this 7.7 RB score lol?

His worst game this year was 16 carries for 100 yards at auburn... Had 138 vs Wisconsin, 140+ against Miss St, and 284 against the Land Sharts

stop paying any attention to the pundits and talking heads. They don't know any more than you do. Their list is meaningless. Don't waste any energy on it.
