I think it's a big mistake for Randle to leave right now. He could and should be a top 15 pick with the right QB play. I think he would get that next year.

i do agree, but the difference in a top 15 contract and a 3rd round contract isn't that great anymore

it's all about the 2nd contract, and he's closer to it now than had he stayed

Have the Saints said that? I'm not doubting you I just haven't heard that.

I hope he does well and slips into the first two rounds, but this years' wr class is loaded. It's going to be tough on him.

Todd McShay was on the radio the other day saying that some scouts in attendance at the BCS game were put off by his body language (ie, dragging arse out of the tunnel after half, walking out of the huddle to line up, not finishing blocks, etc). I hope something like that doesn't hurt him, because by all accounts he has been a great team player for the past 3 years.

I want all you guys doubting RR to come back in 3 years and see where RR is. I can see the logic in staying, but Randle is gonna be a good pro. If he decides not to come back for another 15-20 catches and an offense that passes the ball 40-45% of the time even with Mett I don't fault him. Its his decision. He believes in his ability. I think he is an NFL receiver and would be a 3rd round steal.

Only thing I saw in BCSNCG that could hurt but not that much.

I don't see guys like Alshon Jeffery or Michael Floyd being significantly better prospects than Randle. And Ryan Broyles is a big ?

If it is because he doesn't think he will get catches next year, and doesn't believe Les anymore, than he can't count. he had 900+ yards this season, with JJ and JL playing QB. He would have 1000+ next year.

I don't think its that. I don't think he is into school all that much.

Aren't the 1st 15 picks guaranteed money for 4 years, & year 5 for 1st rounds get the average of the top paid players at their positions?

I dont think you guys are giving NFL teams enough credit. They know LSU's offense is pittyful. They are gonna base their pick on this past season alone. RR is physically gifted. He has nice hands, height, above average speed, and played against the tuffest compitition in college football. I really believe RR is going to be the best receiver LSU has produced.

I love RR, but he a long way away from being DB

DB is more physical...probably faster and quicker as well
