Ensminger didn't want to be OC. Most didn't/don't want him either.

104th in total offense.

Hopefully dude quits b/c O showing same loyalty tendancies shown by past fired LSU coaches.

I could have done better than two home shutouts. I literally can’t do worse

Nope, he took it cause he was asked and loves LSU. Bert Jones wouldn't have helped last night.

Didnt realize that, or forget I guess. Why would O talk a guy into such a critical position if he didn't want the job? Retarded.

But maybe he declined under Miles because of meddling, but O promised he'd stay out of it.

Stovall comes to mind. Pure love for LSU. But just not the right person for the job.

You all can bitch about this thread and fans denouncing Ensminger all you want but the fact is we are 104th in offense.

I want Ensminger to be a part of this staff. He’s a fantastic TE coach, recruiter and has been serviceable as an OC. Not to mention a fantastic representation of LSU and a man who truly loves LSU football. He’s a class act.

But it’s clear we need to do better than serviceable at OC. We need someone that is elite.

If Orgeron wants to keep his job after next season, he needs to find a way to fix the offense. I just don't think that Ensminger can do it. I think he's in over his head.

Did we only play bama to be 104th in offense?

People on this board have mentioned that LSU tried to hire Hugh Freeze this year but the SEC wouldn't allow it. Do you think he asked Ensminger to take it for one year until they can Freeze? Maybe only wishful thinking.

How can the SEC not allow it? If Nick Saban wanted Hugh Freeze do you think that the SEC would tell him no? Seriously, I wasn't aware that Gump Central's control over member schools extends to telling them who they can and can't hire.

If it's only a matter of the SEC not liking it, then I'd tell Sankey to take a long walk off a short pier. After the way they've treated us, we don't owe them diddly squat.
