Ego is the 5th rated draft eligible DT in this class. If he decides to go good luck to him. Don't act like you wouldn't quit your job today if an NFL scout called and offered you a six figure paycheck. You are stuck on stupid if you think these kids come to college for an education in any subject other than football. Everyone pretty much knows who is NFL material by their sophomore year, everything after that is just draft stock.

It's a bowl game against Iowa... Everybody needs to relax.
I'm sure Ego wanted to play in his last game . Every player I've played with wants to finish strong. Plus you get good bowl swag...
I want Ego to do well in the pros. I love seeing people from LSU do well at all levels.
That being said, I personally feel he and Johnson should come back so they can develop a little more. At the same time,Ii cant't blame them for taking the money. Its about risk tolerance.... Look at Ciron Black and Ben Wilkerson...
