I really feel bad for the kid because there is no way he should have been forced into playing this year. It's almost as if his year is being wasted due to the pathetic conditions Brady left us in. I know kids always want to play early, but do you think in his case it will end up negatively effecting his career?

Once he hits an off-season weight program and works on strength, he will very well fit into next year's team.

2011 could be the deepest team LSU has ever seen.

A red-shirt year would have been a good thing for this young man.

That's one of the reasons that Brady is no longer at LSU.

No, I think that in this particular case, the experience Eddie Ludwig is getting will be an asset to his career. He won't be a typical soph next year, he'll be a veteran.

Can Eddie hit an outside shot? Haven't been able to see many games but I haven't even seen him attempt one. His defender plays off to the free throw line and he doesn't look interested in shooting at all. Green will shoot it though.

Yes. I saw him hit one in the 2nd meeting with Bama.

Once Trent gets his good recruits, Ludwig won't see much playing time, so I'd imagine he is thrilled about the amt of time he's getting now.

I think Eddie Ludwig will be a (slightly) less capable version of Storm Warren next year.

Storm probably shouldn't have played last year, and looked REALLY green when he got into games. But he's much improved this year, and knowing what to expect from opponents is probably a large portion of that.

I think Eddie will be the same way.

Ludwig is really lost in this system right now. He definitely should not be seeing any action this year, but shite happens.

My question is, what about Green and Harris? They are not SEC calibur players. I would yank their scholarship. The play of Dotson to me is worse than the play of Ludwig. He at least he goes out there and gives his all. How many pts has Dotson scored in the last 5 games?

I think Harris is an SEC player, but needs to gain strength and experience. I don't think Green is an SEC player and wouldn't be surprised if he is not on the team next season, along with Chris Bass. I'm giving Dotson a pass this year because of his knee injury.

Shouldn't have been a 4 star recruit either. He will be a good player his Jr. and Sr. year. He should have been red shirted but Trent had no players quanity and quality this year.

He wasn't, he was a 3-star.

IMO, Ludwig would have redshirted under normal circumstances. He's clearly not ready for primetime; although, I think he will develop. You are seeing what happens when guys who aren't ready to play are forced into action. It can get very ugly.
