Dural on Harris' development: "You can tell he's a year older and wiser. He's making fewer mistakes, going through his progression, making the right reads, throwing the ball where it needs to go. He's leading the way a quarterback is supposed to."

But but themadfratter said Harris couldn't even complete a swing pass and he stares down his receivers...

As much potential I see in Harris, it's hard not to root for a guy like Jennings. Jennings has a great attitude that I hope is contagious throughout the team. If the pieces come together for either one we are in for a great ride next season.

It's Les' hard head this needs to get through. 48% completion isn't good

I agree. I like the kid and hope he succeeds in football and life. I do hope Harris puts it together and the lights come on, but I certainly won't root against Jennings.

Why is our media insisting on knowing every step of the process? I feel like thats going to hurt a young Harris's growth and bring unneeded pressure on him and stump one Anthony Jennings motivation. It seems everyday is a Brandon Harris status update. Let the guys focus on their work.

Because if you haven't noticed the Media is just as dumb as half the posters on this site. It's been said over and over straight from Harris' mouth that he wasn't ready last year and that he was hurt the last 4 games. Yet it's a Les Miles conspiracy to somehow MAKE Jennings the guy. It's freaking ridiculous. I hope the best QB starts period so we can win but this shite is getting old quick.

The coaches jobs are to put the best players on the field that give you the best chance to win if Harris is outplaying Jennings then he should start and vice versa. We will see how much he has progressed tomorrow.

Who said that they aren't focused? Dealing with the media is part of sports. I doubt they get online to look at media updates to determine whether they are improving as a QB.

I think he got him confused with Jennings.

With all this hype surrounding Harris this off season, I will be shocked if Jennings is named the starter. There has been next to no reports on Jennings and how he is progressing.

Les' s job is to win games. Harris would not have done this last year.

AJ isn't the answer but he was the only option last season.

It seems that Jennings is much better in practice than in games. Les comes from the old school that places a greater value on practice than game performance. He will not pick Harris until he is better than Jennings IN PRACTICE. Game performance won't matter because Harris won't get into games. In Les's mind, he thinks " I know Jennings is better in practice but I gave Harris his shot (Auburn) and he couldn't do it. So no need to put him on the field again."

Jennings will start and Harris will get one shot. He better be so good that Les is forced to keep Jennings on the bench or a repeat of last year.

Like when he slapped the ref's hand off him in that game last year? I think it was Arkansas.
