re: Drunkest you've ever been at a football game?

LSU at Auburn 2006. Started tailgating around 7am. Did some kegstands, funnels, etc. Probably consumed a little less than a case outside the funneling and kegstands. I think gametime was at 2pm. Once I got inside Jordan-Hare, I started feeling woozy (Plus it was hot as a mother that day). Puked in their bathroom, went to first aid inside the stadium to get an IV and missed the entire first half (puked a couple more times inside the first-aid station). EMT told me to go straight to my car during half-time...I went back to the game. And it doesn't help that I had Cracker Barrel that morning.

Home game:
Bama last year. I attempted to give my id and ticket to the lady to enter the stadium, This took about ten minutes my date said, as I kept giving her things she didn't want. I was really unsure what she was asking for. I gave my cell phone, a grill lighter, pack of smokes, etc... Upon passing her, a trooper pulled me aside for a sobriety check. I then pulled the grill lighter out (It was in my belt), pointed at him and "pulled the trigger". The officer was not amused. He confiscated my grill lighter During the sobriety check, I almost lost my balance on one leg, but was able to pull myself up to an upright position and told the cop that that kind of athleticism proves I can't be that wasted. he told my date that if she could keep me wuiet, I would be allowed to stay.

Away:
At Bama the year before. Don't really remeber much as the game time approached. After that it all gets a little hazy. Apparently I was thrown out of the stadium, met a friend i know from lifting who had also been thrown out. We then proceeded to get kicked out of just about every bar they have on that strip. Post-game: My friends finally found me waving my purple and gold feather boas in the middle of the street attempting to fight traffic, and yelling obscenities at bama fans as the police were closing in. Ah good times. Come to think of it though, most of the away games I have been to have similar stories.

I once tried to smuggle a liter of Bacardi 151 into the student section and was so drunk that I thought 2 cheap zipper-type storage bags would suffice. The bags melted while I was in line for the student section gates to open and the ticket guy let me in because he thought I pissed my pants. The joke was on him because I didn't piss my pants until the third quarter when I tried to give the guy in front me high five and missed, thus tumbling down 3 rows in the stadium, knocking myself unconscious....

2003 - Georia @ home. Gameday came. All night party under the PMAC. Don't remember being in the crowd for ESPN gameday, but camethrough about an hour before the game. I had passed out in my seat in the stadium with a bottle of beam in my pocket. Blacked out again after the game. Woke up in a holding cell. Apparently I had made friends with the officers. They got me some Jack in the Box and released me to my girlfriend at the time.

For me: South Carolina last year. I am pretty quiet when sober, but can become a loud drunk. When we started going on a tear, I was screaming, "F*%k yeah!!" at the top of my lungs for several minutes.

But this post is really to rat out my husband, Mr. 1999.

Florida, last season in the Swamp. We got there at mid-morning, and tailgated all day. By game time he was lit. After being warned by some passing UF students not to sneak alcohol in the stadium, he decides to do it anyway. Of course he gets searched. I tell the cop, "Just take it." the cop says, "I have to take him, too. Do you want to come?" I say, "No, I'm going to watch the game." I go in, find some random LSU fans to sit with. I assume he's in some drunk tank somewhere. Stupidly, neither of us brought cell phones, never thinking we'd get separated. After the game, I got back to the car and turn on the stereo, find some chips, unpack a chair, and sit back and wait. 10 minutes later he strolls up, sheepishly. Seems he convinced the cop not to arrest him, only to issue a warning with the admonition to NOT go back into the stadium. After he left, he promptly bought another ticket in a different section, and watched that beatdown, thankful that he'd gotten drunk before.

Crown/Coke Pong. Asleep by 11:30. Now that is funny.

That one is easy. 1990 Indy Bowl. Tech vs. Maryland. I was a sophomore at Tech and was so blizted I didn't remember anything about the second half. Shame, because it was a great game. I believe it ended in a 34-34 tie.
