This team played with a lot of heart and brought a lot of pleasure for the LSU fans. Florida just had our number this year. Thanks Tigers!!!

Doesn't matter when you lose the ship like this.

That loss stings. But it was a great year.

In the words of Eldrick Woods, "Number two is just number one loser".

This feels like the baseball equivalent of 2012! Losing to the Douchiest of DOUCHE Bags always makes the loss worse. Wish we would have lost to OSU, if it meant UF would lose the CWS!

You're supposed to play with fricking heart.

I hate these dumb statements like "they never quit, they played hard, they showed heart".

Morons, that's the STANDARD

If they play their heart out and get beat by a better team or the baseball gods are against them I can accept it. Not when the players and coaches mail it in.

Yes. Tiger Woods gives the best advice and always makes the best life decisions.

The second half of the season was mostly great. The first half was ok to good enough for government work.

Tbh as far as douchey goes, there are a bunch of teams in the SEC ahead of Florida. They aren't nearly as bad as some.

I commend the players on a great season...... but CPM is a horrible coach. The players took over mid season and got them to the CWS but we need a coach and we do not have one.

CPM needs to go.

It was definitely a fun ride, but still a shitty way to end it.

I agree. I enjoyed watching them. Then again, I tend to watch because I love the Tigers and enjoy watching them play - football and baseball (and hopefully basketball if they turn it around). Of course I very much want them to win it all. But the fact that they came up short doesn't negate all the enjoyment I got watching them during the year.

And I enjoyed following the game threads on here.
