1. Get rid of the permanents in the SEC schedule. This is helping Bama and hurting LSU.

2. Develop players faster. An increasing amount of players are leaving after 3 years for a multitude of reasons (risk of injury, baby momma drama) all leading to money.

3. Wait patiently for Saban to retire. He will continue to get the best recruits because he has won 4 championship in the past 10 years and is working on his 5th.

What Bama fans might not be seeing is that Saban is bigger than the school. They are winning solely because of Saban

Going back to the end of segregation in this league bama has at least one undisputed NC in every decade except the 80's

While a drop off eventually has to happen, it's been proven time and time again that Alabama will be back sooner rather than later among the nation's elite football teams. No coach is bigger than Alabama, and the notion that saban could do anywhere what he's done at Alabama is quite frankly ridiculous.

1 - coaching personnel improvements with Brick, Raymond, and Stud out...sorry Corey:(

I think you're one of the first to mention Brick but I agree (Detillier's comments about Freak were disturbing - an incredible talent 3 years in who doesn't know how to use his hands.)

Charles - you're an OL guy. You think Mawae would make a good OL coach?

Mountain, I agree...and I came around to that at the end of my post. My point was that people feeling the Bama Blues right now, there is light at end of the tunnel...

Bama had only two legit national titles before the BCS started...we know all about your "bogus" titles...

Major change I want to see is in recruiting, i do not want to see another 5 star player from this state sign with anyone else...it should be on lock down. fact is Cameron Robinson and the safety from last year signed with Bama for one reason, a championship...

yep

Well you idiots this is impossible. Do you think Bama signs every 5 star recruit in the state?
Two of the top 5 recruits in Alabama have already signed with Auburn and its going to be funny when the #1 prospect for the state goes to Florida St.

the "look at bama they never rebuild we should never rebuild!" logic is stupid. every top team in the country, outside of bam a right now, has rebuilding years but lsu fans seem to think we are the exception to the rule.

you should read my post again, i said that miles relies on our name too much and it burns us with our top recruits in the state that want to win championships...

This has to be on the list:

Recruit competent QBs regularly (check in Texas)

If we'd had a Matt Flynn type consistently over the last few years we'd have at least one more championship.

We seem to be pretty stacked at QB at the moment. Who knows if they'll pan out or not but we have 2 good QBs returning next year plus a very good looking recruit coming in. So it would appear that this problem is under control for now. Also, as long as Cam is here we should continue to pull in good recruits.

That doesn't make my statement incorrect if you choose to view it that way. There was an undisputed NC in the 60's, 70's, 90's, 2000's, and 2010's

By the criteria and systems in place at those times that's not really arguable man, even auburn fans will admit that. My main point is that the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak is always short lived and proceeded by darkness (from your perspective obviously).

LOL, what an asinine statement.

You don't think he could do this at Texas? If you say no you are lying to yourself.

this is what we've been reduced to - waiting and hoping for saban to retire so we can have a shot at winning championships.

have to admit - his retirement would give me a lift.

We say this every year.

Doesn't mean shite until they play. We always recruit good high school QBs.

Well you didn't comprehend my statement. I didn't say he couldn't do it anywhere else, I said he couldn't do it just anywhere. Yea I think at this point in his career there are a few schools in the country he could put a run together like this, but not just anywhere.

Without a doubt Alabama has the most insecure fanbase in America.

Hard to improve on what he is doing at Bama, but given a year or two to work with, Saban would be scary at Texas.

So I guess when Bama's run ends, LSU's begins?
