Is there/should there be a dominant color worn, like a gold game or a purple game, or is it just better to have the mix?

Color doesn't matter as long as toonces is on whatever you wear.
That came from a press release from LSU sports.

Gold or purple for LSU.
The overall crowd will be predominately Wisconsin red. I predict about a 75/25 ratio.

I was about to say - seems like gold is a much bigger contrast from red than purple. Heck, isn't purple a combination of red and blue?

Funny thing is, there will be a lot of green out this weekend. People from Green Bay are a unique bunch...Packer gear is like the uniform of the city. When going out for a nice dinner, getting "dressed up" is putting on your best Packer jersey or sweatshirt. You'll see what I mean.

This is the problem I have with the LSU fanbase. Best fans in college football, sure, but can't get together on a primary color for the away games.
Personally, I wear purple.

The only time I think about this is when we play a team that shares a similar color. So for example I won't wear gold vs Missouri.

Purple for away day games. Gold for away night games.

The "Gold" game always looks good. Too bad the Delicate Genius's in the LSUAD, never pick the obvious "Big Game" of the year for the "Gold Game."
It's like "WTF are these people thinking?" The primary decision makers appear to all have their heads buried in the sand.
