that's pretty much the minimum injury he could have (just from watching the video)

A hyperextended knee can be a few days to few weeks injury with no ligament damage. I've had one before (very painful at the time), but recovered much faster than expected.

That's the best case scenario.

From what ive heard on the street its just an MCL sprain. And from a source who was in the room with the doctor looking at the MRI.No link or other info sorry guys.

heard the same. Miles won't say anything to make the opposing bowl team prepare for both QB's.

Looks like It's the anthony jennings show from here on out

I heard from someone who was in the waiting room at the time that the cause of death was heart disease. Not really surprising considering how many Americans it kills each year.

I wish mett could finish his career at LSU but it looks like he's pretty dinged up. No sense In risking more damage to his knee.

Plus Jennings will get the extra practice from the bowl prep.

I wonder if LSU possibly playing Wisconsin in a bowl game would change the tune on posters not wanting AJ to get QB1 snaps.

You don't bench a senior QB in his final game because you want to see how next year's QB will look in a full game.

Miles will not do that, but he'll probably ask Mett if he wants to play the game if he's about 85-90% back. Why risk another injury and that definitely looked like an MCL or ACL injury. I'd love to see Mett go out in a blaze of glory with 350 yards and 5 TD passes, but only if he isn't hobbling around.

I'm very high on Jennings. This guy has a QB and OC coach who has mentored Brees, Flacco, and Rivers. He will have Landry, Beckham, Dural, and Gordon. I think that small snippet is just the beginning and not just because it's Arkansas's defense who isn't much worse than TAMU's, MSU's, UGA's, UF's as of late, Mizzu's, UK's, Tennessee's, Ole Miss's, Vandy's, etc.

Kid has all the intangibles, poise, mobility, confidence, and talent. After watching numerous true freshman QBs lay heaps of yards and TDs on opponents this year from game one, I have no doubt in my mind that he'll be good.

There are ZERO benefits for LSU or Mett by mett playing in the game not 100%.

If they announce his injury before the bowl selection, we might end up n the Chicken Bowl again.

Let's hope Mett is going to be ok for his future.
One drive, however tremendous, does not make a full career.
