Question for me is, why take a player and thereby all the expense he adds to the trip if there is no way you will play him?

If Patterson hadn't run his mouth, Hill probably wouldn't have made the trip. Miles is now messing with Patterson. Miles has gotten in Pattersons head and Patterson gave the LSU team fuel to fight for its coach.

Maybe, but I'm not sure an all expense paid trip to Dallas to watch a football game with your friends on the team is much punishment when if you don't go you have to be in your apartment or whatever by 9:00 p.m. every night.

It's a huge punishment going with the team and not playing. How embarrassing is it to have pregame cameos on you showing a lack of self control and them having the camera constantly on you not playing. Then the announcers discussing your poor judgement all during the game.
Also your sitting on the bench watching your friends play but you can't. It all seems very real to me.

It's tougher for a player to sit there and watch his team play while he can't do anything to contribute. I'm not sure why that is hard for you to comprehend, but I can guarantee Hill will hate the experience...especially if we are in a tight game.

That and he is going to be embarrassed on national TV. They will keep showing him on the sideline and talking about the fight and the rape. Standing there knowing millions of people could be hearing about what a POS you are can't be a good feeling.
