See 2009. It takes time to build championships.

I'm not sure if I understand the point of this thread. What exactly are you saying?

Since the 2009 championship season LSU has played and completed four full seasons of baseball. How much time do you think it takes?

Its not the time, its the timing. The teams playing their best ball in June are the ones who will play for championships. No one has ever won a championship by beating Brown University in March.

I do, my wife went to watch our nephew play in Omaha in 2010, haha. But I think the scenario is a little different this time around, but who knows.

I always enjoy the baseball season, just wish it wouldn't have ended so soon. But life happens so we move forward.

We should have made it to Omaha last year, then maybe this year's team would have had some experience under their belts...

With all due respect, LSU is one of those baseball teams, it shouldn't take that long!

Do you also remember which players returned the next year?

I'll wait for you to gather your thoughts.

Last year's team would have compared favorably to 2008 except, you know, Stoney Brook........

There would probably be mass poster suicides, which may not be a bad thing with some of the posters on here.
