I think we have the most athletic, future pro's in their WR corp. put these WR's with any QB comp % in the upper 60's they would most put up video game #'s.

Diarse will be our #1.
Just a prediction

Diarse will not be #1 as long as Dural and Dupre are on the roster.

If he doesn't get 50 balls in 15 something is wrong.

Will be hard to get 50 balls with Dupre and Dural on the field.
And we rotated a lot at the WR3 spot last year with Diarse and Quinn. Now add Tyron Johnson in the mix.
Diarse is damn good too but there's only so many passes to go around. I mean even with Mett we only threw like 295pass attempts all year. And we have a very strong OL returning and some guy named Leonard Fournette. So I doubt we will be over 300 pass attempts on the season.

based just on recruiting rankings? yes.

Dupre hasn't shown real man physicality. He had better bone up there. Great skills, but plays weak.
Dupre is definitely solid.. but Diarse has a huge frame and knows how to use it. I'd hate to cover Diarse.

IDK. That's a good debate with a couple of other schools. In no order of top SEC WR units
Tennessee
Croom, Malone, Pearson, Howard, North and now Williams
Ole Miss
Treadwell, Core, Engram (he's a big WR IMO), and now Jefferson and Lodge
TAMU
Seals-Jones. Reynolds, Noil, Pope, and now Kirk
MSU
Wilson, Ross, Morrow, and now JUCO Gray
LSU
Dural, Dupre, Quinn, Diarse, and now Dillon and Johnson
Really all these teams have an above average WR corps. Some based more on experience, some based more on talent, some based more on the production. We'll find out which is better during the season.

Diarse is our best 3rd down WR so he will be out there a lot. I really think they should implement a 3 wide based attack to get more weapons on the field. Cam talked about working on the scheme (diversifying the pass game), and players on execution, so they could complete passes at a much higher percentage. That will mean more quick passes to get our athletes open to make a move up field. We like too many deeper routes that take a long time to develop and unless you have a brick wall OL, that's not going to fly. I know that is the basis of his offense, but he needs to adapt and improve on his system.
I could see an uptick in attempts which means more opportunity.

I think we have the best athletes at WR hands down

Great talent but still unproven. I doubt diarse sees 50 balls thrown his way. It may take 4 games before we see 50 pass attempts. Welcome to another year of run run pass punt. Or run run run punt.

I feel like that had something to do with Quinn's inconsistency.

point is moot without a *not awful* QB
