My complaint is getting ONcampus. When exiting I-10 at Nicholson, the light is still on a normal cycle ... we counted abuot 8 cars per cycle allowed to turn left onto Nicholson or cross it to get to River Road.

There was NO TRAFFIC ON Nichlson to speak of meanign that those waiting to get onto Nicholson were backing up on the bridge and I10 to wait for NO ONE to use the light on Nicholson.

If I knew who to call/e-mail about this i would. And what makes it worse is that there IS a cop "watching" ... guess he doesn't see the 100s of cars waiting to turn left onto Nicholson.

Really, it took us probably an hour or MORE to get from the Lobdelle exit to Nicholson. Sucks.

I believe that 125,000 folks is way under - more like 200,000 - 93,000 for the game and 100,000 or so outside for the tailgating even after the game is well under way -

Um...no.

There is literally no way the campus can even support that many people on it at once.

And I don't think it attracts THAT big of a crowd. There are probably 20-30 thousand (obviously the exact game matters too) outside of the stadium after kickoff.

Agreed. Whenever I go home to Metairie on weekends, holidays, etc. I take Nicholson to Gonzales and merge on I-10 from there. Its much easier than getting on interstate in BR. The speed limit is 55 but I'd watch out for the cops in St. Gabriel...

I think the place for your personal homo-erotic fantasizing would be the OT. Unless you are one of the really militant gays. Then I'm not sure where you should go with your elemenary school level sexual content.

Sooo....

The day after a big win over UF, where pretty much everything goes great, I guess some just have to bitch about something.

Must suck to be so pissy all the time.

My problem was not after the game, but before the game on Nicholson traffic was backed up to GSRI and no cops were at Lee or Jennifer Jean to keep traffic moving. Lights were on normal cycle and it took 1-1/2 hrs to go a mile and a half. When we got to Burbank they had 50 cops standing around doing absolutely nothing.

Parking lot attendants are the next issue to bitch about

Got out with no issues at all. I have never experienced traffic at an LSU game ever.

They really suck at traffic control. They are good at check points and speed traps, but suck at traffic control.

They know who they are, BRPD.

There really isn't a good way to get everyone out. It would be cool to run Nicholosn in Contraflow all the way to the Outlet mall for people heading southeast.
