What's highlight worthy?
Anything Nevis has done.. Ridley's 65 yard TD, PP's punt return for a TD.

Agreed. 10 sacks and 4 touchdowns of 50 or more yards in two games is more than enough material. If only they let Stan Verret choose the highlights.

I agree.
They showed RS getting smacked by UNC and dropping the ball, but not his 30 yard TD run.

Tigers are noticeable absent from every highlight reel I've seen this season.
Maybe this noticeable absence is partly the function of barely being ranked in some of the more prominent top 25 polls going into the season?

Please tell me if I'm the only one that notices this or it's that obvious how bias they are against us...

it's pretty obvious that little nicky has become the flavor of the month at espn. we were pretty popular after we punched ohiost in the mouth but the heads at espn/abc would have loved for it to have ended differently. Les calling out Herbie, and by proxy, espn probably left some lingering animosity and they see the blood in the water and they will probably do whatever they can to stir it up. so it geauxs.

espn is great for game coverage and they have served LSU well...but do yourself a favor and skip the drivel and hype.

I think hate is a strong word. Gameday was at our season opener and ESPNU picked up the Vandy game. Not to mention we have numerous others being nationally televised this season upcoming. I understand what you're saying but I'd say damn the highlights. We're getting plenty of national exposure.

They can hate us but still recognize the profit potential. Those things are mutually exclusive.

How about the commercial where they show the TX player hitting a homerun in the game we won 11-4 for the NC ? They hate us, plain and simple.

What do you want them to show?
Any one of the 7 TD's or 10+ sacks in our first two games would be great...

Also, I wonder if ESPN will use a different coach for all of their College Gameday commercials next year if Alabama doesn't win the BCS Champ. I wonder if Saban is being used because Bama is the current BCS champ, because Bama allowed ESPN to do have access to their fall camp or because they just love them some Saban. Bama has gotten a ton of free pub this fall between the camp show and the Saban commercials and that will only help Saban with national recruiting...not that he needs it.

subtle compliment? LSU is known for baseball dominance.

At LSUs expense, precisely the point of the thread.

Do you all honestly believe that the media "hates" LSU??? It seems a little paranoid and involves too much hyperbole to hold that point of view. Indifferent? maybe Hate? no way
