If you want highlights, then check youtube. You can pick which ones you want, whenever you want, as often as you want. No one outside of Louisiana cares about LSU, so why should the media cater to such a small media market?

and they care about Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, etc? you can't tell me there isn't an obvious bias here. it's been weeks and weeks of CFB Live and LSU is literally NEVER on there. Ever.

Which is precisely why I mentioned it's good for us to be under the radar. Let the media suck off certain programs. I don't care. When it matters, the Tigers will be there. Look at '03. or '07. Someone posted it earlier..... the D went from 112th to 75th, give or take a few slots. IN TWO GAMES. Watch and let it happen.....

Obvious media darling. A little shootout took place there a few years ago.

It really shouldn't bother you unless you are a younger fan and think such things matter. We will get our highlights later in the year when we get into the meat of our schedule.

Wait until PP takes out his revenge on Bama for taking away a potentially game changing interception in the form of a punt return for a TD. Then you won't be able to get away from PP7.

I agree totally with all that you said. The SEC put the hammer down on the Big 10 but I've noticed ESPN has been talking them up again. Oh it makes me want to vomit when they kiss their arse up there in the North then come bowl game time the Big 10 and ND get their asses kicked all over the place. Big 10 did okay in the bowls last year so they are getting some hype from ESPN. But what you said is true, it's all about the money. Networks need certain schools to be good to draw in the TV ratings.

And the Big 10 and Notre Dame have enormous fan bases. Large fan bases=higher ratings=more money! And ESPN loved us just a few years ago.

I know eventually they will be forced to give us love but it's not a young or old thing I am watching college football live to see what's going on in college football not the same three schools that they always talk about!! And I would just like to see a few of the good plays that LSU makes on the highlights. I know we've had some plays better then alot of what they show!!

Just gotta deal with it dude. Look at it this way, when the Tigers show up on the "experts" radar..... they won't have a choice to talk about the Tigers. Don't jinx it!

But outside of LSU fans, who cares? What have we done the past two season? What have we done this season? LSU is irrelevant as far as the national media is concerned. When we start playing the Floridas, Alabamas, Auburns, etc., the media will take notice. So far we've played UNC and Vandy; who cares about either of those games? The UNC game was overshadowed by the controversy, and then you have Vanderbilt, which is self-explanatory.

You talk about fanbase last I checked LSU has a huge fanbase all across the US also so stop using that as an excuse for why they show other schools more!!! And please stop commenting if all you want to do is argue because the more you talk the less I think your a reall tiger fan and more of a bandwagon fan!!!

Yes sir, you got it, that $$$$ is the big picture. And I said the same thing, you may have missed my post, LSU, USC and Oklahoma were the media darlings for a pretty long time, to the winners go the spoils and right now Bama is getting their pub for sure.

I jumped on the LSU bandwagon when Curley Hallman was the coach. I am giving you REASONS why ESPN isn't showing our highlights. The national perception is that Les Miles is a joke, and the evidence is the Ole Miss game. That's how the rest of the college football world views us. LSU has to give a reason on the field to change that perception.

I actually like LSU, I'm just sick of all the whining over why we're "getting no love." Who cares? Eric Reid's hit was one of the top 10 hits on Sports Illustrated. PP's returns were good, but nothing that anyone else hasn't done this season. But once again, who cares? I'm more concerned as to whether our offense gets fixed than some stupid highlight reel.

But he likes LSU!

I know you said it, I was just emphasizing it, because all these little whiny babies can't get it through their thick skulls. LSU was a hot commodity a few years ago, but our image has become stale.

the teams that put up big offensive numbers are the teams that they want to follow. we play small-ball but we win games.

LSU was mentioned in detail today on College Football Live. LSU was also mentioned on the Colin Herd show today. Colin said LSU had 13 NFL players on the team and sadly had no QB. We have played a team that half their starters were out on violations and Vandy. Nothing really to report on LSU yet other than we have QB issues. We've had two off seasons in a row, we need to do some things against teams like Bama and Florida to deserve to be talked about in great detail all the time don't you think? It's not like they don't show our game highlights the last two weeks either over and over on ESPN.

It's like that every year man. It's getting worse and worse and worse. In fact, College Gameday Live during the season maybe one of the worst produced programs out there in terms on information on the majority of college football.

They pick a couple of games a week. They spend most of their time talking about those games. When those games are over then they spend most of their time analyzing those games with very long highlight reels. They did it for us when we were making a move on the National Championship in 07. I was starting to get sick of all of the LSU coverage. Get used to it. College Gameday is a hype machine not a legit college football information show.

To be honest, LSU is a ranked team that has played two games against BCS opponents. Both games were on ESPN affiliated channels. In all rights, there SHOULD be more LSU highlights. There HAVE been highlight worthy plays. I just think that Gameday is getting worse and worse and worse in covering the actual college football landscape.

Stories are more interesting to the college football fans than actual game analysis.

Teams like Florida

For me, the maddening part with this BS is how there's no actual talk how the game went. Let's skip over the 21 points the Fl defense got off of turnovers and likewise the minimal scores from the all mighty offense. This has happened 2 weeks in a row for the Gaytors. They sure look like they deserve to be at #8.

Not saying they're not a good team but the highlights project them in some otherwordly goodness that they are not in.
