It takes time to rebuild.

This isn't a rebuild with the talent LSU brings in. Ed O has been the recruiting coordinator too for the past few years for gods sake.

quote:

Canada has 1/2 a year of recruits.

And hasn't shown much improvement with a veteran core of offensive players

quote:

Aranda has 2 years.

Seem to do alright all last year and against the heisman winner, huh?

quote:

Do y'all not realize next season will be exactly
What the coaches want player wise? And the next will be even better??

What? So losing our QB, top RB and best defensive lineman will get the coaches the exact players they want? bullshite

quote:

Be patient. You wanted a new coach. Take the extra baggage that comes with it. In this case that's a few seasons of rebuilding.

Most of us wanted an actual coach. Not this patchwork Ed O, who proved in his last stint as a full time head coach that he's in over his head.

quote:

I'm sure the players and coaches gave it their all and that's all I can ask for.

Such a pussification of America attitude. "Oh our coach is giving 100% and going 6-6 making $3mil a year, that's all I can ask for"

Winning and running a successful program are what people want.

quote:

Mistakes were made. But are humans perfect?

Most mistakes should be pointed out by the coaches and corrected. That has yet to happen yet after these first three games

quote:

So it's still a geaux tigers every Saturday from now until December for me.

I will always cheer for the Tigers, but I can state my displeasure in the program. Especially the terrible Head Coach hiring process by Joe Alleva.

quote:

however I believe our talent will win more games than you expect.

Completely contradicting yourself. I thought this was a rebuild, but our talent will win games alone?

I wish you would gtfo as a fan and not come back. You are a very unstable person with serious emotional issues. No one wants or needs your miserable attitude and classless self. Calling the man trash. I think it is obvious who the trash is.

Holy fricking shite.

Miles won 11 games in 05. A Hurricane Season. Choppers overhead hauling bodies to the Assembly Center. Won 11 games in 06 with a beatdown of ND in the Sugar Bowl. Won a NC in year 3. What is this 2-4 years of "get back" that you speak of.

This isn't a rebuild? Lmfao. Have you not seen the talent we have on the lines? Next year the dl will likely be much better with the transfer from tt and shelvin. The OL though, we are in trouble.

It's not unheard of for first year coaches to come in and have success. Try again with another excuse.

"I know I inherited a top 15 team and another stellar recruiting class, but do you really expect this team to be great with a potential All American running back and senior QB? This is why they hired me, and not a casual fan, to be the head coach of this team."

Who's fault is that? Les Miles isn't the one who ran off 6 offensive linemen in one offseason.

You don't get to claim it's a rebuild when you're the one who tore down the house in the first place.

what? that makes no sense

also, the PRIMARY point of hiring O was continuity, so that makes the O hire that much worse

We are not a rebuild. That's CheeriO propaganda.

And what in the actual frick are you talking about Syracuse being a big time team and LSU "upsetting" them and shocking the nation? Syracuse ain't shite and are the bottom feeding dregs of the ACC. GTFO with that shite

it's very possible that our best teams under miles were in his 2nd and 3rd year, when we still had Saban's talent

Dominant Saban days? Lmao. Saban had one year our of five years with less than 3 losses, including his lackluster 2004 year coming off a nc

bullshite. I believe exactly what Urban Meyer said concerning a coach's first year. Once you take the job, those players are YOUR players. Don't ever blame a loss on you not having "your type of players" yet. That's bullshite and a loser's excuse.

Looks like the players that O's bringing in to be his "own" are a bunch of 3 stars too. Times ain't looking too good.

Well they probably aren't any worse than a lot of our current 4 and 5 star players.

The answer is that they lead are miserable and negative people. Many need to step away and figure out what is truly important in life. I love Lsu sports, but if it controls my life, I have a serious problem.

Miles was a monumental underachiever. He had years of really talented teams and squandered much of it. I call that inept.

You call 10 wins on average with the floor being 8 inept?

What do you call Orgeron then?
