Culotta has alluded to meddling the last two weeks. Considering how much of a cheeriO he was, I don't think he'd say anything unless he's hearing there's some legitimacy to that.

Hanny mentioned it last night and it bears repeating. Canada was really solid at NC State and got run out of town due to "creative differences". He's jumped jobs quite a bit.
I'm not making excuses for O, he hired Canada after all, but Canada doesn't exactly have a stable track record.

There was an article on the Coaching Changes board last December that said Canada pushed back on Bert's meddling for the Big Ten championship game. They ended up scoring 70 that game.
I'm not trying to absolve him of blame considering he appears to have butt heads with multiple coaches. He was at Pitt for one season and was pretty damn successful though. Since Narduzzi is a defensive guy, he may have given Canada more autonomy than normal.

This is what I would expect to start happening. We all know O's reputation as a firebrand with a fiery temper. He is in way over his head right now and it's crumbling around him. It wouldn't surprise me to see him start to blame his assistants and others to deflect the heat from himself. In his post game presser last night, he looked like he was about ready to explode. Maybe he'll stress out and do something stupid and get fired for something like improper conduct. That would probably negate most, if not all, of the buyout. That's what happened with Hugh Freeze from Ole Miss.
