I'm not trying to absolve him of blame considering he appears to have butt heads with multiple coaches. He was at Pitt for one season and was pretty damn successful though. Since Narduzzi is a defensive guy, he may have given Canada more autonomy than normal.

Seems like when he does butt heads and demands control, the offenses he coaches score big time.

He could be an offensive genius much like Saban is a defensive genius. They say Saban is hard to work for too.

When you lose and jobs are on the line, cover your arse and fingers start pointing.

I saw the FB live deal with JD and he said there was a rift and that O and Canada are not on the same page.

Who knows how bad if true?

Although I think last week's deal where the story was Canada went to
O and suggested they simplify that there was pressure from O and it wasn't something Canada came up with on his own.

This is what I would expect to start happening. We all know O's reputation as a firebrand with a fiery temper. He is in way over his head right now and it's crumbling around him. It wouldn't surprise me to see him start to blame his assistants and others to deflect the heat from himself. In his post game presser last night, he looked like he was about ready to explode. Maybe he'll stress out and do something stupid and get fired for something like improper conduct. That would probably negate most, if not all, of the buyout. That's what happened with Hugh Freeze from Ole Miss.

This is what I'm hoping for. Hope he gets pissed after a big loss and punches a reporter.

I can't imagine they are getting along. With O thinking he knows how to run an offense more, how could they?

I'm severely mistaken in that I thought he said before the season started that he would let the OC and DC make the play calls.

It's very public knowledge that Canada was not his first choice. He probably second guesses Canada's moves with what he thinks Kiffin would've done.

Two weeks ago, Orgeron says they need to be careful about using Tempo. They get rid of it completely outside of 4 minute and 2 minute offense. After practicing it all spring, offseason, Fall Camp, and several weeks of the season.

One week ago, Orgeron says they need to simplify. They get rid of all shifts and unbalanced lines. After practicing it all spring, offseason, Fall Camp, and several weeks of the regular season.

Meanwhile, as Orgeron is busy telling us after last night that we regressed over the past few weeks, nobody seems to recognize we are busy tying our offense’s hands behind its back schematically.

So what the hell is left for Canada to do if he cant run or vary Tempo and shift the lines pre snap?

The answer? Get scapegoated to buy our head coach another year.

Yea, that first half was horrendous. Better off just running the offense how it's supposed to be done and just try to get better executing it. Trying to cower down and hide just doesn't work.

The rift is bad. I won’t go onto detail but, Canada will be gone if O is still around. He may leave on his own accord. Canada doesn’t like Baton Rouge. Apparently, the player really hate him also.

This...all of this. Those that say O is letting Canada coach is not seeing the giant clues that he isn’t and meddling in everything Canada is trying to do

Canada referred to it as "Prawns", set Coach O off.
I heard it was due to his pronunciation of "crayfish"

I think it was apparent there was trouble in the BYU game when Canada went ballistic in the booth after O was goaded by the players into going for it on the forth and goal.

Fake news and revisionist history. Come on man. There's enough real evidence to point to without making shite up.

Sounds like their is certainly friction based on the post game shite show presser. I kinda 1st noticed that on the LSU/BYU replay. Canada didn't want to go for it on 4th and goal but O did and you can see just based his verbal and nonverbal expressions he was pissed. And we got stuffed...again.

I saw it as well. my first thought was oh shite Canada and O are fighting on this one. Granted that happens often in coaching but now with this latest incident the byu goaline call gives it more credence.

Talked to a high school coach who is familiar with the situation. 100% fact that Canada isn’t happy. He said this experiment is about to implode. Coach O is a slime ball and recruiting is about to take a hit.

Apparently personality clashes got him canned from NC State too, per Hanagriff last night.
