bullshite. All that shifting was garbage, and as for tempo, if it is working great....if you are going 3 and out, and have a very depleted dl not so great. I'm not excusing O, at all, but I have not been impressed with Canada's actual play calling, at all.

Lol. This is where we blame o for the offense now too. If I'm the head coach, and I pay this guy that much money to be a top oc, you gd right I'm meddling with the crap Canada has put on the field.

I'm not even defending O, but I totally agree with you. Canada, so far, has not lived up to his billing. Of course, all the experts on here will still blame O and place no blame on Canada.

You damn right he stood behind him. Facts are though Canada has not produced, at all. I don't blame o at all for being pissed. Furthermore, given Canada's track record, I wasn't aware he seemed to clash everywhere he has been. I'm guessing o was expecting a lot more out of him.

It doesn’t take a genius to see Canada’s O isn’t working.
My point is where was he when Canada was implementing it? Did O, or for that matter anyone, believe that the constant shifting and jet sweep would work? In the SEC where speed on D is a premium.
Even after BYU when the Offense was awful O is heaping praise on Canada talking about “taking what the D gives us” bs.
As HC you don’t get to sit by for week after week, month after month as a new system is put in and wait to review it and tweak it or overhaul it after historic losses to Moo State and Troy.
You act like the new system is a surprise to O and he is only now shocked at what Canada had been doing since the spring.
Having said all that and you will find no soul defending Canada and the offense, what gives you faith that O has any clue how to fix it?
Where exactly in O’s coaching career screams he can run a successful offense.
No one is defending Canada but damn man. But does O even go to practice? Does he review the gameplan and play call sheets?
You act like he hasn’t been involved at all and only now is putting his input in. That’s just not accurate.

I don't think it is the scheme of Canada as much as it is his play calling. Just my opinion. Agreed, we are all pissed. I will say that I'd imagine O promised him upfront that he would have total control of the offense. I do imagine also at some point O has to step in and say wtf.
In essence, y'all want the narrative to be this offense or lack of is due to O's meddling. If the offense was doing well, it would be because o is staying out of it.

It's obvious that O has a suggestion in the coaches meetings about the offense. All of the assistant coaches back O because he demanded they keep there job when Canada was hired. Canada doesn't have assistant coaches that he selected, of course if the offense didn't go perfect from the beginning you could see this riff would happen. I don't blame Canada for being pissed since O doesn't know offense
