A lot has to happen to worry about CWS matchups...but like others have said...if anyone is hoping to avoid the other in the CWS...it's OSU hoping to avoid LSU

I guarantee all the other schools want to avoid LSU right now and are equally as interested in where we land.

Very true, no team wants Baton Rouge on their schedule

Let's stop looking at CWS match-ups and get through the Regionals first...

I'm sure fans on a message board impacts the outcome.

No. Tomorrow's game has no bearing on the final hosts or seeding.

I agree no team that expects to be in Omaha wants to be in BR. However, half of the teams that expect to be in Omaha will be having a party at their place. I bet every 4 seed would love to be heading to BR, even a lot of 3 seeds.

From past experience, the national seeds, along with ranking will be set before the committee goes to sleep tonight. 1 game in a conference tournament setting will not move the needle.

I'm of the crowd that would prefer the 6 seed to the 4 or 5 seed.

I think the same question was asked when we beat Vandy in the SECT that year. We were #2 going in and they were #1. We beat them but they still got the 1 seed. Same thing will probably happen even if we beat them

Stop being a pussy. If we want to win Omaha you have to beat the best anyway. Bring the best teams in our regional/super regional so we're tested and ready.

I honestly think UNC is the team to be more feared than Oregon State.

I think the same thing.

UNC's lineup is more balanced 1-9

Why? Who cares if you make to Omaha and want to win the title you have to beat them anyway. This is provided they even make to Omaha.

Nope. The tournament isn't near as important as regular season titles and Florida won it. ( I know we tied but we are not ole miss). Plus they took 2-3 from us.

Florida will be the 3 seed, but if LSU wins the tournament title, you don't think LSU would have a better overall body of work?

The seeds/hosts will be decided before the game is over.

Nah, host sites are announced later now.

With that said, 1-2-3 is on lock, but I was arguing that dude for acting like Florida is head and shoulders above LSU.

I think Ell_13 is correct. Tournaments matter on getting in if you are a bubble team. National seeds I think are decided by the regular season for the most part.
