JLee is a big part of it.

Def seems faster.

Oline is playing well.

Rbs are loaded.

Solid quarterback play would be my #1 reason.
This........is dumb.
You think solid qb play will fix a clusterfricked mindless offensive scheme?

Case in point.
The Wiz took a qb with a solid 9-4W-L, 22TD 8int 2010 season, and pretty much ruined him in '11 (2-6W-L, 5TD, 6int).
Anything faintly familiar?

Execution was missing last year from the qb position.
IDGAF how you want to label it.

GC being gone is a good thing.. but I wonder what we would have looked like with JL getting 75% of the snaps last yr instead of 25%.
Obv that's a hypostheitical,,, but how many times when Lee was in the game last year did he look lost or confused?

Quite often actually. But it wasn't just QB play.... The entire offense looked confused at times. It just QB is naturally most noticeable. Crowton being gone is the answer, he has ruined every offense he's been at I don't understand how anyone can say he wasn't the number 1 problem.

I have to say Crowton. The sideline was so much more organized compared to last year.

come on man... if that's the case give me one example.

Im not taking up for GC,, Im jsut saying that the execution part of what the qb IS RESPONISBSLE for gets overlooked.

I didnt think we looked bad/lost/or confused in 07, 08, or 09 in terms of offensive scheme.
Thats with 3 different qbs.
One of those being JJ.

We didnt execute last year.
Thats a fact.

Now was it 60% GC and 40% qb or 80-20 IDK...
All I know is the probelms we saw on offense last year, we dont see this year.
The two guys that were biggest component last season (which is you ocorr and your qb) for the most part arent there anymore.

I think its obv a combination.... everyone here has a different opinion on who's more at fault.
Honestly it doesnt matter to me... its fixed and we are playing well and moving and protecting the ball.

Your a Meauxron and everyone who thinks it was Crowton's fault. Everyone knows we are going to run run run up the middle and they still can't stop us. That shows it is all about execution. How many times were we sacked last year compared to this year. The qb's are better because they're more mature as well as the o line. You people are the same ones that wanted to run Miles out of town before the Bama game last year. Enough said.

Weak sauce. Miles had planned on putting the #12 rated QB in all of the NCAA on the bench. Until outside forces intervened, and left him no choice.

Think about that one more time. A QB ranked in the Top 10% of the nation, has been sitting our bench for over 2 years.

I'm sorry but you say Lee wa thrown in the fire and act like JJ wasn't. JJ was the same age as a true soph in 08 and our passing game was all we had. We ran for less tham 50 yrds total in 4 games in 09 JJ had a higher qb rating than Flynn in 07. But he was never good? You sir aren't football smart. You don't have to tear down JJ to compliment Lee.

I know where you're going with this, but it's futile. You think 5 points in eff would've made the difference?
'10 JJ- @115rat
'10 JL- @120rat

'11 JJ- @230rat
'11 JL- @155rat

Everyone knows you are one of the biggest Rantards around, and while yes, the maturing of some of our players certainly is a factor to our team's improvement, if you really think this offense looks anything like what Crowton was doing, you are clearly not watching.

Look bro, I dont have an agenda.
I know its a popular thing for few of you on here to say concernig these qbs,, but it in all honesty I dont.
Ive said this before and its 100% true.. If someone on this board says somehting and you agree with it, then its an opinion.. if you dont agree its an "agenda".

Couple other things.. I noticed you convienently left of the "hypothetical" part that I typed.
Also I havent called anyone any names in this thread.
Oh.. btw Im sorry I misspelled conjure.
try to get it right from now on.

Crowton being gone is the biggest reason.

We've also gotten more consistent QB play, much better OL and DL play, and Brandon Taylor is healthy.
