I don't care if Florida is down this year

Winning in the swamp is a big achievement regardless

Usually, when a team goes into the swamp and wins, it's a huge momentum booster.

Reading this board you Would never imagine lsu just won

Many ppl had Florida as a loss in pre season predictions

Most Tiger fans know UF isn't very good. They've been depleted by suspensions and injuries. And we know that we're playing nowhere near our potential.

I guess it stopped the bleeding but we have to improve leaps-n-bounds to keep up with Auburn. Can happen.

They suck...it felt good, but they suck. So no. We didn't forget, just nothing to get excited about.

It was good to get the win against yella toof and the jorts, but I think most here realize that it doesn't necessarily mean this team has turned it around. Offense still needs to make up it's mind what it wants to be, and the D needs to shore up, granted they definitely flexed at the end.

Happy for the win, but it's hard for me to see this team beating an actual good team.......at least right now.

Auburn is getting scary good as the season progresses. But at home if we have success running up the middle early so they can't focus on just the jets and force some 3 n outs early who knows. We need some sacks and turnovers early. And of course slow down the run

LSU has won 5 of the last 8 games played in Gainesville. It's not like it is a rare occurrence for LSU to win there.

Was it a good win considering the circumstances? Sure.

Should the fans be excited for tomorrow's game? Absolutely.

Is there any real reason to fully believe the win last week will be a "springboard" to success tomorrow? Not really.

Auburn is a MUCH better team than UF and it's not as if LSU dominated the game last week. The difference in the game was bad hold.

Certainly we can (and will) hope for the best, but not be surprised by the probable.

if you had to lay odds, which team wins a conference championship sooner?

Michigan with Harbaugh, or LSU with Orgeron?

Trick question because the answer is neither.

This could happen, depending on which versions of both teams show up. People would be talking about making the playoff, heading the right direction, etc.

But what if it does, and LSU then loses to Ole Miss in a letdown game because they couldn’t keep up the energy? I see this as a very possible scenario.

Florida is dogshit, and LSU needed a missed extrapoint to pull off a one point win.

LSU has also gotten destroyed by a Mississippi State team that isn't any good, and beat handily at home by a Troy team that just lost to a terrible S Alabama team.

Anyone being confident is brain dead.

The all time series is 32-29-3. We have done good work to close that gap in the last 10 years. It's a big deal to win against them, they owned us for a while. We compete for 5 stars with them annually.

Well we'll certainly hear it from you when we lose; under-talented, cupboard left empty, no kicker, fans made them lose.

It was a good win, absolutely. But the team still held a grudge from last year, they had the mindset to win. Will they carry it over against Auburn? We'll see.
