For sure. He was a mess. Was good to see fournette trying to cheer him up.

I can imagine it's a tough place for him. He is a huge recruit watch 3 beast in front of him...I'm sure he wanted to show out.

I did feel bad for him, but there's no reason to fumble. One turnover is the difference in outcome of a close ballgame.

when someone is that sad, you can tell that he WANTS more than just about anyone to prove himself. he's hungry. can't wait to see him and guice in the future. will be like Dalton/james.

Yeah.....Clearly you could tell he knows what happens when you fumble under Miles.

It was nice watching him run while we had the chance.

Nope...he learned a valuable lesson. That will stick in his mind for the rest of his career. He got to sit and watch 3 RBs tote the rock with great efficiency last night. If he wants to get on the field to have his time to shine he will remember that ball security is paramount. That circumstance will serve him well going forward.

I did but he's young and will have the pleasure of playing beside filthy filthy Guice. He'll have time to get his shite together without to much pressure because of it

Shows that Miles puts so much emphasis on turn-overs - He knew he was going to be in the doghouse for a while. The end result is so far this year - zero turn overs.

I appreciate the fact that Miles puts a lot of emphasis on fumbling the football. Turnovers cost football games.
So do special teams! How about putting the same emphasis on the coaching of the kickoff coverage team, the punter and the kickers who can't kick the ball past the goal line and kick the ball out of bounds?????

Didn't Hester fumble once and it never happened again? Like his first carry or something??

Good luck to this kid.

Zero turnovers this year? We had one for a TD vs EMU.

I feel bad because you can see he wants it, but crying? C'mon man.

If I remember Hester fumbled his first and last carries for LSU. Someone correct me if this is not correct.

I did feel bad for him...until he started carrying on like a child on the sidelines. I understand he knew he was done, but throwing the helmet and shrugging off the coach was a little over the top.

Before you bash me, remember that Keiland, Kenny, Spencer, Michael, Jacob, Charles, and a list of others did the same thing and handled it with less drama.

I think he was emotional because it broke the RB's record of a gazillion carries without a fumble, not necessarily because he had to go go the bench.

Yep, Miles is one of the few coaches that stresses ball security.

I love this kid. He's passionate and knows the value of every carry he gets. He has his family on his back and he doesn't want to let them down. If everyone had his mindset, we'd be a better team.

Keep moving forward #4. Your time is coming
