I don't remember Jacob Hester throwing his helmet and crying.

Feel bad. To much pressure is put on these guys. He shouldn't have to feel that way.

I understand what you mean, but I don't feel sorry for him. However, I do feel assured he will learn from this and take the necessary steps to protect the ball. There is one great RB and two very good RBs in front of him and fumbling sure as hell won't get him any playing time.

Because in all of the games you played in, you never fumbled. Amirite?

C'mon man. Everyone knows that under Miles if you fumble you sit and rightly so.

Yeah, that's true, and he even does it to our detriment (see Jeremy Hill @ Ole Miss).

I know Miles' position on ball security.
I was pointing out the foolishness of saying that there is no excuse for fumbling like it was a voluntary act.
Fumbles happen to the best.

Given the score of the game I would have liked to see him get a carry or two at the end to get him back thinking positive. Message was sent when he was immediately removed from the game after fumbling.

Always think of Saban going off on one of his head bobbing , headphone throwing rants at the fourth string cornerback who allows an 8 yard gain for a first down due to poor technique while they are up 48-10. Thankfully Miles does not embarrass his players like that.

Pissed of at him when he fumbled in that situation and was more pissed when he looked like Cam Newton pouting on the sideline.

Not really. Hold onto the ball. He's probably crying because Guice is awesome and Brosette will backup him and Moses.

Yes felt bad. Esp as a fellow UHS alum. But it's tough love and the kid has got to learn. We won't tolerate fumbles. I bet if LF fumbles we see Williams or guice in the next series. Just how it's done.

Didnt J.C. Copeland fumble on the 1 yd line vs Bama? (that was brutal) He didnt cry. Yesterday was a teachable moment. I really hope he learns from this and drops the temper tantrum and the water works and picks up the lunchpail and puts in some hard work.

I felt sorry for him. He's still very young, fighting for playing time. Had to suck for him.

Hester got blown up @Georgia his first carry after like a 20 yd.gain and fumbled, but he never fumbled in NC against Ohio St. I believe he may have fumbled against Arkansas but didn't lose it. I do remember he made McFadden fumble on a kickoff return.
