It was simple but perfect. You could tell he was aware of what he just did but enjoying the atmosphere.

Carries himself well. Mature beyond his years, kudos to his mom.

I noticed that all year when ESPN would talk to him for half innings on days when he wasn't pitching.

He stated it was a dream of his to win a game in Omaha. Doing it by going all 9 and 8 scoreless innings after a rocky start is just icing on the cake.

Noticed he stuck the ball in his back pocket. Hope he gets a few more of those before he leaves LSU.

No. No one else "caught " it. Out of the millions of viewers who watched the game, you were the only one. Really?

True, I hope he settles in and maintains excellence and good health the rest of his time at LSU.

He responded like a true LSU Tiger after that first inning- grit , determination and alot of a$$ kicking.

Just a deep breath and a smile while looking up. Could tell he was just living the moment.

On the replay it looks like he pointed up and said "I love you." Did anyone else catch that?

Well it was brief and not mentioned by the ESPN crew.

And since we're being technical...there weren't millions, let alone a million, were watching a college baseball game during a weekday afternoon.

Point taken. No offense intended, but anytime someone asks or implies "Am I the only one ...."
The answer is always no.
That said, I loved Lange's reaction. We are so fortunate to have him.
