Lol wait a moment are you suggesting that connect is actually from Chavis' wife?

You do realize that anyone can post a comment under any name.

Yeah, it doesn't fuel the narrative so prople think its a fake comment.
His wife has been pretty active on facebook making comments about the situation.

It would be a low chance someone makes a fake profile in order to comment about their dying parents and disputes what type of house they have.

You ever considered that perhaps our defense is fricking tired at the end of games after being out there all game long due to shitty offense that cannot sustain drives and is a 3 and out machine?

Yup it wasn't about the offense whatsoever. He had a great one just a season ago, and LSU will field an elite offense again.

It was contract PERIOD.

He was never taking a shot at Les either. People believing that are absolutely idiotic.

How long has her dad been "dying" for? We r all slowly dying.

Need pics of Chavis' house. And mom's, it's probably a ranch.

Don't trust her. Chavis is a worse persona daily in my eyes. Doesn't speak for himself. What a pussy.

This is incorrect no matter how many times it gets repeated.

Another genius that makes stuff up and didn't even bother to check any stats before emphatically "this"-ing a post that is complete bullshite.

Narrative? What a crock. It seems all are willing to believe anything if it fits their beliefs. Look in the mirror for a moment if the comment attributed to her would have supported the sources in the article would you have posted it?

Don't suggest simply because there are people who do not share YOUR view that they are pushing a narrative and you are not.

As for the article and the comment.

I have no idea who the sources for the article are or if they are real.

I have no idea if the comment is real.

What we do know is Chavis was quoted stating he was excited about playing with a good offense. That is his quote.

Is there true journalism with any degree of integrity left?

One thing to bear in mind here. The TP didn't claim to quote Chavis directly. Their article supposedly came from a source in the LSU athletic dept. That their narrative wouldn't match up with the Chavis family's shouldn't surprise anyone.

What is surprising is that someone in the athletic dept would make comments that put both Chavis and LSU in a negative light. That's what makes me doubt its validity more. Someone toeing the party line would not bring up the offense as a cause.

Then who ever wrote it should be sued by Chavis and LSU! This shite has got to stop NOW! It's basically sabotage on a multimillion dollar company. They should be fired and legal action taken on the paper and writer. I would go hard after anyone trying purposely to ruin my program and it coming from a local paper at that. Rediculous!!

I know someone close to Chavis who has been accurate with everything he's told me so far. This was entirely about money and the terms of the contract.
Chavis knows LSU gave him a home after his 1st love Tennessee let him down. He has NO problem with Les Miles. This was Business.

So basically, you'll believe what a reporter throws out there, no matter what?

You sure are downplaying the comment in the article. A reporters name has to be on something to make it official?

There. If Chavis had private thoughts about Les' offense, who would blame him? Even if he privately confided with someone his thoughts about the offense mixed in with a number of choice expletives, it would be human.

The fact that there is not a single quote out there says a lot about the guy's character. I am sure I would have let something slip after any given cluster of a game over the last few years.

You're obviously a fake, sir. There is no quote from a reporter to make this comment official.

There are no reported quotes.

I don't believe her. There was sone other things going on besides contractual issues. She is not going to tell us. So I would take her comments with a grain of salt
