I have never seen a LB at LSU with this much ability. He is so strong and covers sideline to sideline. He will improve even more in time which is really scary.

He’s great and all but how old are you?

Old enough to know he is a potential first round draft choice. He is really just learning the position fully. He played RB in HS as well and not just LB. I have seen many LBs come through LSU and he is one of the best. There has not been one LB that I can remember ever playing at LSU that has his strength and speed all in one.

He was a dynamic Running Back in HS, it's what makes him so versatile in the middle. He is gonna make a lot of money doing what he does

I'm 31 and have seen a lot of great LBs come through but can't remember and with his combination of elite speed and elite strength that he has. The kid seems to rag doll defenders with ease and makes plays that he looks to be way out of on a regular basis. Not to mention he has a high football IQ and is getting better by the game.

Look, the guy has been tremendous - no doubt. To say nobody has come through with his ability is tall though. There have been some very good ones through the years.

I predicted he will be a first team all american to a friend at work before the season. He might prove me right.

That’s my only point. People are so quick these days to call anyone GOAT. White has some legit elite tools no doubt. But this is How Aranda’s defenses are built. To truly highly the MLB.

This isn't about scheme, this is about a player that big and that strong being able to run as fast as he can, similar to Fournette. Calling White the goat at this point in his career is fine by me

Well, I started going to games in the mid-sixties and have seen George Bevan, Mike Anderson, Michael Brooks, Eric Hill, and many more great LSU linebackers. And I think White has as much potential as anyone I have seen at LSU.

He's pretty much everything you want in a player

He is kicking arse on the field. Saying all the right things off of it.

It's like if danny Etling was throwing 300 yards a game. He's the kind of guy you want to succeed.

Lionel Turner and Cameron Vaughn were pretty good. Ali Highsmith, Perry Riley, Kelvin Sheppard, and both Beckwiths all were solid and had their own games they dominated in.

I do believe White has a chance to elevate his game, he just needs to stay the course and out of trouble

Exactly. It isn't just about how good it is it is about how good he already is as a Sophomore. It's crazy seeing a Sophomore out there barking orders at the seniors.

Michael Brooks is the best LB I have ever seen in person at LSU.

Devin White is the first since him that has that rare ability to take over a game at a completely different level. He could be really special before he leaves Baton Rouge if he stays healthy and keeps improving.
