Pretty shitty thing to say about a college kid.

Pretty shitty thing to get up votes on this site, also.

That kid recruited hard for LSU in high school and people on here are going to kick him while he's down.

Kind of a shitty thing to say about a kid on tv in my opinion.

Well, he's not wrong with his statement. Very happy to see that someone who's actually played the game on a national stage and follows college football closely also has the same opinion that most already had. Excellent observation by desmond howard, even though anyone with a normal functioning brain had already known that about our QB situation.

Has nothing to do with that. We all know Harris was not cutting it and there needed to be a change, but it was classless what he did. If you have never played a sport you won't understand, I can promise you Harris is going through his own demons right now no need to pile on like that. Howard could have gotten his point across by saying;

"LSU's QB play has improved and their offense is putting up good numbers right now so that would be my pick of what is left on Bama's schedule"

That would have worked without raking Harris over the coals on national TV when I can promise you Harris feels bad enough about his benching already!!!

Classless to bash an amateur athlete on TV like that. I don't think Harris is a good QB, but Howard's words don't sit well with me.

But it ain't complicated!
What Ensminger is runnin right now isn't complicated. I've already said that if you read what I posted, but the shite that Miles and Cameron ran from weekend to weekend was. They had no sense of what they wanted to do or be on offense and that makes it complicated for a QB. They didn't know if they were running the spread or pro style. One minute they were in the I formation the next in the spread or some other formation. And yes, when Etling took over for Harris running whatever they would send in he looked bad in it also. But Ensminger has kept it simple and a QB can thrive in that. And I'm not calling for Harris to play like some of these assholes on here keep saying. Just making a point that if Harris got the call to replace Etling if he got hurt or something I don't think he would look bad either the way Ensminger has it set up.

That was wrong. He could have spared Harris the humiliation. Howard should have a little more empathy.
As an ex-Heisman winner Howard didn't exactly tear it up in the Pros.

It's sad and pathetic to see so many LSU fans happy about this comment.

Harris is still a Tiger, will always be a Tiger. He's a frickin college kid who gave it his all for LSU, it just wasn't quite good enough.

It also didn't help that he was "developed" by Les Miles and Cam Cameron for 3 years, and handcuffed further by shitty and predictable playcalling.

Brandon Harris is still playing for LSU...really need to stop disrespecting the guy.....I bet we could use his skills elsewhere on the team.....play linebacker or something.....from what I heard about him, he started playing football late in high school....that's why he never developed the touch needed for the short passing game...

For fricks' sake, Etling looked rusty in his first game, but the for the love of god, he hadn't played in a game for over a year. Anyone would look rusty. And I know this won't be popular with anyone but he's looked much better the past couple of games because he's had damn near 6 full games of live action. It's not all because of the game plan.

He struggles b/c he played a spread in high school and is playing pro style in college. He didn't check down in high school. If his receiver wasn't open..., he took off b/c he was hard to catch.

None of the spread QBs ever work with that offense.

Suggesting he play at LB is absurd, btw
