huh? Harris played all last year and the first 5 quarters this year.

The offense hasn't changed much, so let's not think we're running some new-fangled offense that Harris would thrive in. Etling just has much better accuracy, pocket pressure, and ability to read defenses and check down when necessary. Harris showed none of that. He's had his shot.

Well... if he's got something more to back up that opinion other than his performance under Miles such as he or someone else has looked at him and his mechanics/footwork/etc, so be it. If not, it's uninformed opinion.

I still think BH has great tools and athleticsm. The kid got screwed. However, I'd hate to see the experimentation to happen now. He might be permanently screwed.

I do say I hope they are practicing RPO's and zone read with him. I'd like to see him get series with such things under these 3 conditions:
- non-red zone
- more than a couple plays, series
- when "consultation" with Etling is required

I never said anything about them running a new offense, I said what they are doing now suits Harris more. Etling is in the spread more and that suits Harris. Yes, they are still running and always will be because that's their strength, but when it comes to passing it's out of the spread more than it is lining up under center which is not what Harris is good at. He is more of a spread guy.

Hey man... get out of your feelings. Desmond gets paid to give his opinion. He isn't paid to please sensitive LSU fans.

Personally, I can't stand that lispy motherfricker. I think his commentary is lame and off target a lot. His Heisman trophy win was arguably the weakest Heisman race when it comes to who he was going up against in the history of the Heisman. The players he beat out were Casey Weldon, Ty Detmer, Steve Emtman and Shane Mathews. His only success in the NFL was a return specialist, but he was successful at that position.

That being said I truly can't stand to hear that lispy frick speak it is literally like hearing nails go down a chalkboard for me so I am bias about him and he went to Michigan so he can take Go Blue and shove it up his arse!!!!

That's about the only thing he can hang a hat on in his brief NFL career.

I'm much more impressed with Charles Woodson's Heisman career at Mich than his. And his fake cartoonish laugh annoys the hell out of me.

That is a whole different topic but I agree whole hardly with you Miles/Cameron failed the kid tremendously. But Harris has to take a small bit of blame because what was any DUAL THREAT QB thinking signing with those two. All they try and do is take Dual Threat guys and make them pro passers!!! If you sign with them you need to understand what is going to happen and the possibility that you might not be successful in their offensive scheme. So I put it has 80/20 on Miles & Cameron over Harris.

That's brief to me. Anyway he didn't do much in those 10 years.

There is nothing brief about a 10 year NFL career when the average is about 3-4 years.

You love Desmond I don't. That's about the size of it and what I mean by brief is he was just a return guy in the NFL. That's it.

What they did to Harris was 100% Miles and Cam's fault.

If Harris played for CLEM, OSU, HOU, TCU, ALA, OM, any modern offense he would be as successful as DeShaun Watson. He was the #1 DTQB when he committed to LSU with Miles & Cam promising him a spread Offense. He was offered during Parkway's Spring Game when he beat Chark's Alexandria squad 100-0.

I guess you missed Joey Galloway this morning calling out Miles and Cam for hamstringing Harris. Spears, McFarland, and every other analyst over the last 2 yrs say that Miles and Cam failed to fit their offense around their DTQB, ranking 119th and 120th in Passing Attempts.

Miles & Cam have miserable records with QBs and their 10-10 SECW, 15-11 SEC record with the #2 Roster in the SEC is why 5 WRs left and Cam could not land a top DTQB.

All week the talk around Alabama's success with Jalen Hurts, Sims, and Coker has been centered on the fact that Saban fits the offense to Hurts' DTQB skillset. ....something Cam was fired for not being able to do with Flacco in 5 yrs.

As soon as Cam was fired Flacco set the all time record in the 3 postseason games throwing 11 TDs, O INTs, averaging nearly 300 yds passing and 460 yds of offense/gm. Result: Super Bowl, MVP, and a 110 million contract.

Caldwell, Peyton Manning's HC, took over as OC. He got rid of the pre-snap reads and put Flacco in the shotgun throwing quick screens, mixed with shots downfield with 3-5 WR sets.

Look at all these "fans" enjoying one of our players being a target of a cheap shot by the media.
