I much rather Des said:

"Is Les Miles still the HC of LSU"

"Well then they got a shot!"

Because that is more accurate.

Are you serious? If your face was disfigured in an accident, it's now okay for me to exclaim, "Wow, your face looks like shite!" You know...the truth.

There's a lot wrong with gratuitously insulting a 20 year old kid who tried his best but failed, and is now a backup who is not even part of the discussion.

I don't say that Desmond Howard is a low, coarse human being, but he did do a low, coarse thing. And you need to grow up before you end up like that.

Les Miles & Can Cameron failed BH6 point blank end of story

I want to point out that Etling's first appearances, in which he looked waaaayy better than Harris, were under Miles and Cam. Harris wasn't undone by Miles and Cam; the poor guy just couldn't get it done nearly as well as Etling.

I don't know if anyone has saw harris run but he is not that athletic he runs up high and he is not very fast. plus he overthrows receivers big time ask travin dural vs ole miss. almost ruin dude career. too sporadic for me and barring injury he should never get another opportunity to be our qb. give me Justin McMillian if de goes down he cant be as bad as harris

Stupid on Desmond's part. The question should be "is Les/Cam still in charge"? Those guys were the problem, not Brandon.

Makes you wonder what Cameron thought of Harris, then.

Harris is one big hit on Etling from being the QB again.

It must be tough on these guys to give opinions when they don't know the programs well enough. I listen to a lot of blanket statements that pundants make about ours (and programs around the country). They don't seem to have enough working knowledge of the particular programs.

it's the nature of the beast. the viewership is more nationally atuned than ever before so they comment on teams they don't know shite about. there is absolutely no way a sportscaster can be intimately familiar with every program. it appears that keeping their mouth shut is not an option. par for the course in this day and time.

I don't really care about Howards career I was just shooting off because I didn't like the remark he made about Harris. He doesn't know enough about the situation to be dumping on a kid playing in a system under Miles and Cameron that really no one knew what the hell they were doing most of the time. Etling looked bad in it when he played, so I don't think it's fair to attack Harris like that. I think if Harris got the chance again under Orgeron he would be effective also.
