He recently followed Joe Brady on Twitter.

There is one name, however, that’s hovering on the backburners of the college football rumor mill: D'Eriq King.
quote:

buzz has persisted behind the scenes King will at the least explore his transfer options.

Need something extra to spice up that theory? One of King’s recent Twitter follows is LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
quote:

Big deal? Oh, yeah. King is a massive, potentially season-altering talent for a quarterback-needy program.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Houston native is one of only six quarterbacks in FBS history to account for 50 touchdowns in a single season.

OU message boards are saying it’s between them and LSU.

The high character bar set by Joe Burrow is too tall for D King. Do not want

So the narrative has always been that Myles was too small, but these measurables are perfectly acceptable?

I don’t think King has a spot on this team.

What makes you think King doesnt have high character? Because he left Houston? Is Burrow the only QB allowed to transfer schools and still maintain his integrity?

I wanna see Myles play

He’s got a rocket and I think Brady and our WRs can make things easy for him

One graduated and left after spring practice. The other quit on his team in the middle of the season. How are they even close to the same situation?

Leaving in spring after you graduated is hardly the same as leaving four games into the season.

It's not so much that he decided to transfer, but chose to redshirt a month into the season when he was the established starter.

Houston was 1-3 and King wanted to maintain his eligibility for another season. They clearly werent going anywhere even with him and honestly it was probably better for Houston to be able to break in a different QB who is younger and will be with the program for more years. So King got what he wanted which was a chance to play for a winning school and Houston got to develop a younger QB and prepare for the future. I dont see what the problem is.

Give us a quick breakdown of the specifics of each situation as you understand them to be. If you still can't tell the difference, we'll try to walk you through it.

I feel like Burrow has stabilized the qb position for the near future but an injury to Brennan would set us back again. How many years does king have left to play?

For the 1,000,000,000th time...King did not quit on his team. Dana Holgorsen tanked the season and asked King and a few others to sit out the remainderof the season and redshirt in order to have them next year.
