That's asinine and keeps getting repeated. Football brings in 10 times the revenue basketball does (in terms of profit generated it is $27:$1 in favor of football). At LSU, if you kill the golden goose, you are going to get fired no matter if Will Wade makes the tournament or not.

You are an absolute idiot if you think we stick with that clown for two more years.

And this is like the 80th thread you've started saying he's going to be here three years
There is some logic to those statments he's making.

No person in a position of power want to admit a mistake, ever.

So one route is Alleva refuses to fire CEO based on a gambler's mentality of "there's still a chance" and the fact that firing is an admission of guilt.

The other route is to go ahead and fire quickly and shift a portion of the blame to the person fired. But that is biting the bullet (or a fragment of it) and admitting a mistake at the same time. The earlier Alleva fires in this scenario only determines the size of the blame shifted.

Wrong. Alleva better hope O turns it Around. At least enough to avoid a losing season. Win 1 or 2 sec games and I think both are faaaked

I didn't want him making this one. That's why I fought the firing of Miles as long as I could.

What's Stoops up to? You think he'll want to crank it back up after a sabbatical?

Unfortunately, no.
