Article also points out that Latz is still having "setbacks"

Charles Manson, bottom left, looked scared of the ball.

I had no idea I had such a high risk of a bird pooping on me at the Box

You fricking buried the lead in that story:

quote:

Freshman pitcher Jake Latz continues to have setbacks while going on his sixth month of recovering from a stress reaction in his elbow.

Latz, a highly touted 2014 signee, did not pitch this season after the injury flared up in February. The southpaw was expected to compete for a starting weekend spot before the injury. He’s rehabilitating from his home near Chicago, and the staff continues to hope to slot him into a summer ballclub when he’s fully healthy.

“He’s progressing and then having setbacks,” Mainieri said. “We hope to get him out to pitch some this summer — even if it’s 10-15 innings. We’re waiting for him to tell us he’s 100 percent and we’ll get him placed somewhere.”

I'm told his parents don't want surgery and are into Natural ways to heal. And that's the real problem.

That's why I don't understand all these people penciling him in to the rotation next year.

I've never seen a bird poo on anyone at the Box.

Just how shitty will LSU make this netting look?

I really don't like the fact that he's rehabbing back home. I wish he would have stayed in BR so the coaches could keep tabs on him.

At the old Box, I saw a piece of a birds nest fall in someone's nachos one time.

Not much they can do there. i don't blame him for wanting to be with family rather than in Br to do 2 hours of rehab a day. I'd guess Cory and the docs are in contact with a local group.

I don't understand. Was his entire class schedule online based?

True. The kid was homesick I'm sure. I also worry about outside influences getting in his ear too. I heard one JC coach had tried to get in contact with him.

I assume he is not enrolled in summer classes.
