Myles Garrett only had 3 SEC sacks in his record breaking I'm freaking awesome sack campaign last year 
Seriously. LSU has 8 sacks in 2 SEC Games!
throw in that 1 Sack in 3 plays vs our cancelled cupcake.......,all I can say is WOW!

We have a pass rush under 0. 
Myles Garrett is damn good; wish we had him (even tho La'el handled him easily) and I think had the SEC freshmen Sack record, or second to Clowney.

Said it since the end of last years season and nothing's changed my mind so I will keep saying it...
Godchaux is a dominant force out there and damn near unblockable. He's got big time written all over him.

Godchaux is going to be the next great LSU dlineman. Haven't had one since Brockers and Logan. The way he's been getting out of his stance is frightening. Not only is he stout against the run, but he's quick and disruptive enough to generate sacks as mentioned in the OP. So excited about this team

If I heard right someone being Interviewed on 103.7 today said that Godchaux told Coach "hey we're pretty good" and Coach said "yeah, we're pretty good". Made it sound like Miles told this at his press conference but I dont see it. Anyone??

Most impressive player after LF7. He will be a top 15 pick. Really benefitting from Coach O teaching him to get to the passer and have him do more than clog up the middle. Has to stay healthy for LSU to be a really good defense.

Godchaux emerged as our best D-lineman as a true freshman. He now looks beefed up and polished. It's exciting to see a dominant tackle on the line again.

I still think he was robbed last year by not being a freshman all American. Started every game and played really well especially late in the year.
If I recall one of the DTs that was named freshman AA had a grand total of like 8 tackles for the year.

Da'shawn Hand from Alabama. I think he's going to be a very good player for them, but he didn't deserve to be on the FAA Team for sure. It's like they selected him for the team based upon high school rankings and potential, because it sure wasn't his play on the field.
