Edit: I see I have some competition now with Citizen225. Mods, if you want to take this down, I understand. It's the same thing minus the extra two minute prelude and cheesy graphics..

I honestly think Etling can cure a lot of our offensive woes. Just look how the offense opens up when they know they have a confident, cool QB in the game. Things are looking up boys..

We still have a ways to go with the intermediate passing game, especially across the middle of the field. Etling is certainly better than Harris though, and hopefully will improve as he gains experience.

Some of those streaks should be adjusted to back shoulder throws...

I just like the way Etling is always looking around the field even when the play breaks down

Your vids are definitely better man!

Etling's message to the SEC:

OLine looks a lot better. The whole Offense just looks more confident.

How could anyone not be happy with that performance? I think I only counted two passes where I'd consider it a "bad" throw but even Tom Brady has those here and there. My optimism for this season has increased a lot.

Not great but pretty good QB play by LSU's recent standards.
-There were a few plays where he had another receiver more open than the one he threw to
- Good pocket awareness and does pretty well on the plays that break down.
- Accuracy is not fantastic but a good bit better than our last two starters
- Didn't get to the sticks on a couple of those 3rd down scrambles but did show "the want" to get there.
Overall, I think we're in pretty good hands with him if the playcalling stays good. I love the lanes our newly found passing game is giving Fornette and Guice
Thanks for posting this.

Really like that 2 tight end, double wing set out of the gun. Can run some really nice drag concepts out of it. Also can run a lot of traps in the run game

I'm sure it's been discussed countless times, but why didn't Etling see the field against Wisconsin? Not saying we'd be 3-0 right now, but I'm sure we would've looked a little better than we did at the very least

He was apparently injured
It was why they kept showing McMillan as the backup during the game

I kind of doubt the injured narrative. He was throwing balls well before the game.

bump for those who didn't get to see it.
