You’re right! But Brennan does have this locked up!

Good. I could care less who wins the job but the fact that whoever gets it will be because he beat out the other guy and not just because he’s next in line is a great thing IMO.

I always support the player chosen by the staff. I may doubt them, but I don't see what they see day in and day out. If they falter it's next man up.

JJ changed my position on the "supporting the chosen one" bullshite.

Nothing against Myles, but I’ve always thought that Narcisse has the highest ceiling.

I feel very good about Narcisse and Brennan, mostly just from the comments on this site. I think the most important thing for both of them will be coaching and adding a few wrinkles that highlight their strengths.

I mean as something he would want. Seems to genuinely love LSU.

Would like this a lot. Dude may not have been a "great" QB but the dude was tough as freaking nails.

I know most expect Myles Brennan to be the guy at QB for #LSU next year. Don't be shocked if classmate Lowell Narcisse really pushes him for the job. Heard Narcisse is back from his two HS knee surgeries and been wowing the staff with his wheels and big arm in bowl practices.

Yep, like consistently throwing an accurate football into the hands of WR's, TE's and RB's. Until he does that in practice, he aint playing in games much.

Oh, I hear he's real athletic, has quick feet and a strong arm. (So did BH)

Some of you people are fricking miserable "fans".

I know he's an honor roll athlete, but what is his major?

He would do well NCAA football broadcasting.

I expect to see them both get good playing time against our early schedule after Miami. If they are both good then the 2nd string will get a meaningful drive in later games.

I can already see the civil war we are about to have on here from the Brennan vs Narssisse battle.

Gotta have them both ready, what if Narcisse beats Brennan out and then blows a knee out again. I think they will both get playing time until one overtakes the other by a margin.

Some of you are apparently slanted for whatever reason toward a QB who runs but is inaccurate. I prefer a QB who knows the offense and can consistantly complete his passes.

Accurate QB!!! dilly dilly!!!!!

Mett was a statue, but was the best qb we’ve had since Matt Flynn..... accuracy is FIRST, FIRST, FIRST in being a qb. If you don’t have that, nothing else will work as effectively as it should. PERIOD!

So, saying that: I don’t care if he’s a two-star from Sakacrackalacka, Montana. If he’s accurate, we can work with him. If he’s not, then I don’t care if he can run like the wind, he will NOT be an effective QB.

Sure seems a lot like couple years ago and things said about another former LSU qb.

Give y'all a Hint, his name is Brandon Harris.
