you didn't see through crap. you were overly skeptical and got lucky. unless you heard every conversation that took place between the major players, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Lunchbox, why was Miles's family on the field after the game? Why was he carried off by his players? Why was miles surprised in the press conference that he was returning as coach?

It is more far fetched to believe that NOTHING was going on behind the scenes...

I believe the deal was this.

LSU was going to buyout Miles and go after Jimbo. LSU made an offer which Jimbo agreed to in principal, but I think it was a ploy on his part to get a raise. FSU countered with what he wanted and he told LSU it was off. So the deal was all but done because Jimbo had accepted but was playing us.

Once we learned this and not wanting to go through a coaching search, the negative media all week, and with Alexander stepping in(and only so he could portray LSU as paupers for his budget cuts) is what happened.

I don't think anyone posted misinformation, some might have run too far with it, but I believe we thought it was going to happen. Jimbo played us and then the school felt that There wasn't an adequate replacement to quell the negativity that was worth all the money.

Because the media ran with a bunch of half baked info and made a spectacle of it?

I never claimed Miles job wasn't in jeopardy. But that's very different from saying DALSU's details of the replacement process were BS. Surely you see the difference.

Hi Chicken

Can you get your IRL pal and golfing great David Toms aka belowpar to enlighten us on what really happened the last few days?

I mean he was right about a deal with Jimbo being made from the get. He should of stopped there.

He would have still been wrong. The FSU insiders nor any FSU supporter seemed worried in the least nor did they ever confirm a counter offer. It was pure speculation by an individual.

No, because he posted about coordinators and timelines. He was full of it.

We can all agree there was a deal with Jimbo in the works. That is what DALSU claimed before anyone. RandomLSUhero also echoed those words. They should of stopped until it was a "done deal" and never used those words but some close to the situation believe it was as good as done.
I'm not sure what is not to believe. DALSU didn't ruin the deal, our president botched it.

Should DALSU eat some crow? Yes! But burn the man? No.
