No it's not. Football season is the perfect time to do this. The players in pro ball will be done and can be there. Plus it is their homecoming and LSU will probably be their biggest crowd of the year. Those players earned the right to be recognized. Have zero problem with this. If LSU.

Also all the people that actually watched them win it will be there. They just may happen to be wearing purple and gold.

Seems like the homecoming shite would take up most of the time allotment at halftime no?

How many LSU fans would be bothered by this if the roles were reversed?

I mean seriously, this is such a non-issue.

That's okay. Let them have their fun. Just remember - what goes around comes around. I have a long memory. The best way to solve this problem is to have the gators in a somber mood because they are getting their asses kicked on the football field.

And I'll clap for them and then get right back to yelling for the Tigers.

It's all good. They did earn it. Let them escalate the rivalry with any means at their disposal. It will make beating their arses that much sweeter.

As long as we win their homecoming game their former victories will come across as nearly meaningless that day.

I was expecting this and would assume LSU would've done the same if in that position.

All this posturing by UF does is prove that LSU is in their heads. I don't care if they commemorate beating LSU 58-3 under Curley Hallman. So what?

So what? If that isn't proof of how much we reside in their head, what else would you need?

They seem to be making pretty much every decision about us.

Good. Let them.
I'm going to laugh when we beat their arse on homecoming/ring day.

Hopefully it's 24-0 LSU at halftime, and then they have to do all their homecoming and baseball presentation bull shite in the middle of an absolute arse kicking.

When did LSU present rings in the past? I have no problem with honoring a team at a football game, but ring ceremonies should be done in front of that team's fans. I know there's a lot of overlap between LSU football and baseball fans, but there are some baseball season ticket holders that don't go to football games that should get to see the presentation.

It's difficult to do baseball right after season because you're gonna lose kids to draft. That's why LSU always parades it's former baseball players in October football games when seasons are over.
