Since the last one was anchored.

Here's to Craig "The Crown Vic" Victor. Came home and has been vital to the turnaround. We play so much better with him on the floor. He's a major key to our conference championship and NCAA tourney hopes.

He's arguably the most important player on this team. His toughness and attitude is something we very much needed. He played his arse off today.

His free throws are falling now. Keep grinding!!! Big Bridgewater showed up as well.

Well deserved appreciation thread.

Love seeing him 8 of 9 FTs as well.

The difference when he's on the court is stunning....Just look at when he went out with 2 fouls, it changed both team's intensity, LSU for the bad....Props to Bridgewater for his play during that time to keep it close.

This guy may have gone from our worst free throw shooter to our best all in one half of a season

We all were hoping for Victor to be a good player, but I don't think anyone expected him to be this good and have this big of an impact on this team. He's the most important player besides Simmons. Love his game as well. Exactly what we lacked early on in the year.

Agreed.

LSU is 11-5 since Victor become eligible. Most of us knew him from HS, but didn't know what his impact would be. I would guess most thought he would be a good contributor, but he's had a huge impact.

I agree, brother.

Different team with him. He plays well with Simmons, and the rest of our bigs are very limited.

Just a thought:

Should Victor come off the bench? Let him come in at the 16:00 mark and start from there with 0 fouls? Start Robinson and give him a few minutes at the beginning to bang and use fouls?

Not saying I think we should do this. You almost always should start your best guys. It's just frustrating how much Victor is having to sit in first halves.

Was thinking this earlier, haven't watched the game yet but did he foul a lot in the second half?

Maybe take him out after his first foul

His 2nd foul today was very ticky tack, but they called a lot of ticky tack stuff today, so he would have probably picked up his 2nd soon after that anyway.

Maybe just a quick hook for Victor after his 1st foul, let Elbert eat 2-3 then let Victor come back in and finish out halves. Tired of being down at 4-5 at half every game.

Robinson has actually improved a decent amount this season, IMO. He has clearly beaten out Malone for those backup post minutes.

He's grabbed some clutch offensive rebounds, he is a big body that can bang and use fouls. He is a liability in half-court offense for sure, but that's the price you have to pay sometimes.

We just have to find a way to have Craig play more than 5 minutes in the 1st half.

He and Simmons are just going to have to concede post buckets if they get out of position. No need to take on unnecessary fouls.

Simmons is really good at looking like he's gonna concede a layup, and then committing a weak foul and giving up and 1s.

Like, really good at it.

The one late in the game today was such bullshite. The guy jumped, tucked his legs backwards and kicked Benny, and then Ben was called for the foul. Pretty absurd.
