Signed CLM.
Some of you rantards really, really suck. Don't dis the man that led LSU to NC last year. He didn't forget how to coach suddenly. Did we need a new pitching coach last year? CPM didn't teach base running this year? Right. It's just a funk teams go through now and again where the stars line up against you.
You really are an unappreciative bunch.

This year. We'll see how you turn on him later. Trent Johnson wins the SEC and people were already off his bandwagon this year.

show me one negative post i have said about Trent Johnson.
I'm a realist, I knew what problems the baseball and basketball team had coming into the season.
I was on the Les Miles bandwagon until this past season. The guy can't coach, the players have zero respect for him, and brings nothing to the table besides recruiting. What does he specialize in?
There is a difference between those situations and you should realize that

Name the last LSU FB coach to put together three 11 win seasons in a row or equivelent.

i don't really give a frick what he did with Saban's players. He blew it in 2006 and tried to blow it in 2007.
When the players don't respect you and think you are a joke, how can you discipline them?
Yes, he had a good 3 year stretch with great coordinators. The problem I have with him is that he doesn't bring anything to the table offensively or defensively. He requires high paying coordinators to get the job done, yet he hasn't shown the ability to replace them or even develop talent adequately.
He benches players who are playing well for no reason, and it should have cost us the NC in 2007. Penalties should have cost us in the NC in 2007 as well.
LSU has only beat one good team over the last 2 years (Georgia Tech). We were embarrassed against Georgia and Florida. Have we blown out 1 good SEC team in Miles' tenure at LSU? LSU is 1-8 in against top 25 teams the last 2 years and in almost every single one of the games LSU was completely outplayed

PM was just winning with Smoke's players.
Also some shite on Grewe.
And plenty of course during game thread.
Not a Negatiger, I wouldn't just make it up.

Mainieri is way better than Miles, but disappointment is warranted. To show it doesn't mean we don't support him.

Is that the new name for inappreciative, fairweather fans who get off by eating their own?
It's comedical how you guys pat yourself on the back at the same time you stick the knife into the back of the winning 5 yr coach in LSU history.

2006, you mean the year we played 3 top-5 programs and a top 10 program on the road? Or 2007, a year that we won the NC despite a barrage of injuries?

Let's ask Ryan Perilloux, Troy Giddens, Zhamal Thomas, Kyle Anderson, Nick Child, Jeffery Jack, Derrick Odom. etc. etc. Discipline has NEVER been a problem under Miles so don't manufacture one.

Actually, what should have cost us the NC was NOT benching players that he probably should have. i.e. Dorsey post-chop block.

Last 2 Years is becoming as common a phrase as Saban's recruits on here.

This is the SEC. The good teams don't get blown out.

Again.. last 2 years...
And getting "outplayed" is subjective. I would argue that we haven't ever been outplayed by a Saban-coached Alabama team, though I know you would not share that opinion. The same can be said for several other games against top 25 teams.

somewhat deserved for the pitching staff management this year and lack of improvement of people like Ross and Bradshaw.

Out of frustration not thinking clearly. And probably not as much as you think.

no, its the new name for fans who were at the georgia road game where Miles fricked up us getting points before halftime, the ole miss game where we were completely outplayed, the uf game where we embarrassed, the bama game where they drove up and down the field the whole 2nd half, the capitol one game where he fricked up the clock management again.
I go to every game home and away and spend a ton of money of the tigers. I think LSU deserves a coach who is great, not just above average.

CPM was handed a program that was nearly destoyed and built it back. CLM was handed a great program and is on his way to destoying it. No comparison/

You mean take a 9-3 bunch under Saban and very next year go 11-2, and again the next year and again the next year, with MNC to boot.
GTFO with Saban players crap. Was Saban's ghost there coaching? Those guys learned so effin much RS, and Frosh year, ole Miles couldn't even screw them up in 3, right? I mean if Saban instilled "the force" in them, there shoulda been a MNC in 05?
Looks more like Miles had to undo some stuff to finally get them to promised land. The farther from Saban they got the better they performed.

i mean 2006 where we ran the ball 30x against auburn despite having a clear advantage through the air.
How did you feel after the 2007 Arkansas game? We got very very lucky and I'm thankful for it

I'm talking about on the field discipline. Either way, you just name several players including a star QB who were discipline problems. He handles his players off the field activities very well though. I like the guy as a person just fine.

i agree, he played an injured Hester against UK over a dominating Charles Scott. frick running the ball for 10 yards per carry, it just wasn't good enough

not really sure what this means, but the last 2 seasons have alerted some glaring needs. It just sucks that the best schools in the SEC (outside of UGA) have better coaches than LSU.
I guess I just don't like losing to Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Houston Nutt

we still lost. UF still handled us like a play toy. UGA wasn't a good team last year.

not really true, but we still have been blown out 3 times under Miles in the SEC. One was in the SEC Championship. An 11 win team should be a good team right?
Was UF a good team last year? Bama sure blew them out in the SECCG. LSU plays to the level of their opponents

did you watch Bama completely manhandle us in the 2nd half last year? They ran up and down the field on us and killed us in the 4th quarter. I think Miles outcoached him the previous year. We should have blown them out in 2007, but we found a way to frick up the lead and fall behind.
quote:

UF, Bama, and Ole Miss completely outplayed us. We still may have been able to pull Bama out, but they were running at will on us
