He's annoying at times but he nailed it in his opening this morning. He listed several coaches including the Ryans, and why they will either get canned or have been canned. It's because they aren't "curious". Meaning not willing to adapt to the game. Mentioned that Pete Carol has changed, mentioned Auburn, Ole Miss, and so on.

Our coach wrote the book on not being "curious". It's a hopeless case to get him to change.

Really?
quote:

Haden Rettig would have been a perfect fit, but he was told the offense was going a different direction.

Harris was the best in the nation at running the Auburn style offense in HS

the o-line is being taught zone blocking used in spread offenses

So what point are you trying to make. He's still running 2 tight I formation run into a brick wall offense 70% of the time.

I don't get why people just can't figure this one out for themselves. Do they need coach to come out and say that we are changing to a different offensive philosophy so please give us a little slack??

No, he isn't. Why not try watching an LSU game sometime?

A LOT of them are, that's for sure.

I wish these kids would just stick to their x-boxes.

Excellent point.

That's why in 2006 we had a prolific offense, and expanded on it in 2007.

In 2008, after the D sucked, he changed coordinators and Defenses.

In 2013, JUST A YEAR AGO, LSU had the most prolific offense in school history.

Right... Stay hopeful, but don't dare change a thing.

I think they want Miles to get his playbook from cheatcodes.com.

Our fans just want to blame coaches, rather than just accept our players are not executing at a high level, especially when our competition is.

The LM lovers are out in full force. When are you guys going to realize that he isn't a good coach? He's a good guy but there are 7-8 better coaches in the SEC and are they are handing his A double to him right now. It's the same crap over and over. You call out the one or 2 good offensive seasons out of 10. I mean come on what have you been watching?

Serious question, how old are you? You have been on the site for a decade or more, so that tells me you are no longer a kid....that is the sad thing. I'm thinking no way in hell you ever graduated college. If you did, man oh my, you definitely on the leadership ladder in career progression....with that small minded, knee-jerk mentality that you display. Good luck on that, and hopefully you can grow.

You mean like recruiting - and landing - the 5th ranked dual-threat QB in the country and then changing our line blocking from man to zone?

They work with what they have.

2013- Mett, Landry, and Odell Passed the hell out of the ball.
2014- Harris/Jennings, etc, run more. Don't want another Lee scenario.
