that's being a little bit harsh on them. They are, for the most part, just young kids who still are naïve enough to think they know it all. They can't see the big picture yet, and are easily influenced still and not able to look past short-term valuations. They will grow.

Now, for the older so-called fans that behave the same way......that's a much bigger issue. Most of them, however, are largely un-educated sidewalk fans.

I watched the Auburn game.
I formation first 6 plays of the game.
We did get in the shotgun on a 3rd and 8 with Gordon and Neighbors next to Harris in the backfield, with another TE on the line, so there's that.

Yep, 2 of those 6 went for about 7-8 yards each, 1 was a fumbled snap on second and short, another was a qb going the wrong way on 2nd and short....and one was the qb taking off far too early out of the pocket.

Ever occur to you that the coaches realized that the stage was too big for Harris and they were trying to ease him in? I mean, not even once?

It's gonna take time to see change, you can't just stick a frosh QB in his first start against AU and expect to see us mirror them.

Great. So our coach is paralyzed by fear. At least the Lee crap gave us a chance. We have to chance with toss dive left of center, toss dive right of center.

So what point are you trying to make. He's still running 2 tight I formation run into a brick wall offense 70% of the time.

1 fricking time against Auburn. 1 out of 70 plays is not 70%. You people are hopeless.

This is actually incorrect. We've passed the ball about as much this season as last (right at 24 times per game).

But ultimately, this board is going to believe what it wants to believe.

Excellent point.

That's why in 2006 we had a prolific offense, and expanded on it in 2007.

In 2008, after the D sucked, he changed coordinators and Defenses.

In 2013, JUST A YEAR AGO, LSU had the most prolific offense in school history.

Welcome to the Finebaum show of the internet. You will fit right in with the rest of the ignorant trash!

You are right, he did make all of these changes but it was after the problem was a huge glaring weakness. He is terrible at making changes to prevent us from having a huge weakness. He kept Stud far to long until we had nothing to sell Cam Robinson on. He has now kept Brick Hailey on far to long and I don't see us landing our needs at DE so it looks like we will have a huge weakness there in 2015-2016.
Miles will never build a complete team because he waits to long to make changes, kind of like how he waited to pull Jennings late in the 4th qtr of the Miss St game. Also kind of like how he decided to use Doucet, Bowe, Davis and JaMarcus late in the 4th qtr against Auburn in 2006, Charles Scott until OT against KY and his awesome time management skills.
A miles led team will always have a huge weakness for opponents to attack and if it doesn't, he will create one.

You call out the one or 2 good offensive seasons out of 10. I mean come on what have you been watching?

If you did a lil research those offenses were the best in LSU history. Go look at 2002 and 2004. Only 09 compares to that. The rest of the offenses under miles were better than those two seasons. What was wrong those years? Bad qb play.

He sent 5 dlinemen to the NFL from the 09 class alone. So when should he have fired Haley? After one season of under performing? Our o line is worse now than anything stud fielded.

Did you watch the auburn game? The coaches know what they have. Harris was terrible. Go watch the under armor combine. Harris was terribly in accurate in the passing drills.

Yup and I also saw the end of the Miss St game. Some guys play better coming off the bench and maybe Harris like that right now. That's why some pitchers are better out of the pen than getting the start.
