Then Kirk got on and sort of took up for LSU with "now are you basing this on their team now or bc of the BCSNCG?"
Wtf is up with Oklahoma being better than LSU, USC and Alabama?

So has the schedule they have had the last 10 years. Cake walk and they either find a way to screw it up in the regular season or they get whooped in the NC game.

Yeah herbstreit said that oklahoma loses every year to a team they are supposedly better than. And that he doesn't know if that trend wont be continuing.
I hate when people do preseason ranking based on schedule. You don't know how all those teams will be. OOC schedule shouldn't be a factor until at least half the season is played.

This totally sucks arse. I was so looking forward to this season and now I don't know if I will bother to watch any of the games.
Is there any hope? Can someone tell me how much of a factor the preseason rankings factor into the final outcome? Please someone tell me LSU still has a chance!

Although I still don't know the exact over all percentages I have been informed that his predictions carry the same weight as herd of cows does.

Who wouldn't like proven QB play?
We are essentially what the New York Jets were the last few years. Stud defense, exceptional special teams, ground and pound running backs and supposed talented top notch receivers with an average at best QB...and we all know how everyone views the Jets.
From the outside looking in, I can understand why some would drop us a spot or two with an UNPROVEN quarterback in the SEC.
Not sure why this seems so crazy to everyone.

oklahoma @ #1 i'll never understand, every year they are always highly ranked. it's fine though, LSU has the team to prove people like cowherd wrong, plus, i like all the attention is on other teams.
