OU and USC will both choke the chicken on at least one occasion this season like they do every year. I.e. OU losing to TTU last season, and that was before Broyles tore his ACL. USC losing to teams like Arizona Stata, Oregon State, and Stanford (pre-Andrew Luck) over the years. They can start OU and USC 1 and 2 all they want preseason, but the media wet dream of USC vs. OU BCSNCG will end by about week 6 or 7.
Oh yeah, and ESPN HATES LSU....and Cowherd is a total douchebag.

Cause LSU has the most spoiled fanbase in the country and how dare ANYONE NOT rank us #1 in EVERYTHING. Its quite sad really. And ANY LSU fan that is still butthurt about what happened in 2003 regaurding USC needs their FAN-CARD taken from them.

OK loses in FW this year if TCU does not suffer too many injuries the preceeding week.
Org Is a bit overrated this year in my opinon.
The other 3 schools are all contenders and a logical person could see reasons to argue for all of them.

this has nothing to do with him picking LSU #4....I used to listen to him all the time, but eventually his arrogance about always being right about everything, putting down others, and never admitting when he is wrong...will get the better of him. I'm surprised that more people aren't gradually turning away from him...one of the most arrogant and egotistical sports guys I have heard.

Yea, and where you finish is impacted to some degree by where you start. The lower you start, the more ground you have to cover to get to where you want to end.
If the preseason #1, 2, and #13 teams eventuallly go undefeated, guess which two are probably gonna be in the top two at the end? Not always, but probably. Thats why preseason polls DO matter.

And, hence a cautious approach by some in ranking LSU at the top, waiting to see if the prescription works. IMO, #4 is just fine and the rest can be proven on the field. Can't wait for the season to start!!!

All fanbases need to learn to live in the present. So much old hate for a program that had almost nothing to do with creating the controversy except win their games and be the beneficiary of being ranked #1 in both polls - in which the public probably overreacted because thet couldn't understand how the #1 team in the land couldn't be in the BCS title game. Everyone has moved on...why can't all of the LSU fanbase?
