Right. And on soft contact, while other guys were getting roped.

Norman and Bain were what we needed them to be last night and going forward.

Throw in Gilbert and that's fine. Still need one more....

One more for what? Peterson looked good for the 1 inning we saw. Newman is your anchor. And if only one of Kield/Reynolds/Hess figure it out, then we are set for almost every weekend and even better off if Gilbert and Walker can provide decent starts leaving one of those two available in the pen during the post season.

It seems like middle relief has been sketchy these last few seasons.

And is made up of almost exactly the same arms. Based on limited viewing I think Bain will/should be one of our primary middle inning guys.

I hope it was an off night but Reynolds doesn't look like he's improved much. Strall.....doesn't need further discussion. He'll be a mid-week inning eater at best. It's too early to tell but I think Kiel will need some time to find control.

Luckily there are a still a handful of arms remaining to be shown off.

My concern is the guys that have been here a few years not doing well, like Bain, Norman, and Reynolds. They will be a vital role in our success in the bullpen cause PM will want to go to the veterans

A 4th legit starter? Find me one program with one of those.

Amen, brother. Last year's national champion had two legit-ish starters and a closer. Three total pitchers worth a shite. Drink it in, man!

I'm saying I'm worried about them not performing to their capability. I'm not saying they haven't played well

I liked the sample from Gilbert.
Strall had a terrible outing and could not work through it.

What's your bump for? Are you trying to brag about Norman? What a douche.

In this thread your only post were talking about Norman, arguing the point that he hasn't done good.

Norman enters today's game and struggles a bit, then gets hurt and you bump the thread.

I think I made a pretty safe assumption.

Then how come you didn't?

Its all good man, just take this as a learning experience.

Dont come in throwing jabs before you understand whats going on.

Assumptions are dangerous and can often result in someone having egg all on their face... May want to go get a paper towel

You mean the one that threw 5 innings of 2 hit ball with 6 K's and no ER's. Seems to be throwing good to me

Nah, you are flat out being a queen douche without pertinent commentary upfront instead of "bump". Otherwise you wouldn't just bump this stupid f'n thread after Norman is injured. You'll crawfish around and act like an internet bad arse but you are what you are, which is far from what you pretend.
